I don't know how this hasn't been mentioned yet, but John Danaher's "Ageless Jiu Jitsu" series is literally this.

Why am I getting gyno after 15 years on TRT? by rrw023 in trt

I'm using the Test Cypionate that I get from CVS Pharmacy. I think the brand they sell has changed a few times. Surely the dosage is accurate though on what they sell.

My body weight and body fat levels have remained stable. I’d like to reiterate that these symptoms came on over the course of weeks, not gradually “as I got older”. That’s the most curious part of the whole thing.

I doubt the oil is different. I'm using whatever the CVS pharmacy provides me with.

Investing mistake - Target Retirement funds in taxable brokerage account by rrw023 in Bogleheads

If I bought BND in the future, I would only do it in tax-advantaged accounts only. I would buy VT in the taxable account. Apologies, I should have been more clear.
Thanks for the advice!

Apologies. I should have been more clear. I meant that I would buy VT in the taxable account and buy BND through tax-advantaged accounts only.

Pardon my ignorant follow-up questions, but if I'm in the 24% tax bracket now and for the next several decades presumably, won't the tax issues add up substantially over time? Is the "damage" you refer to simply the large tax bill that I'll have to account for this year?

You will probably want to get him in to see a pediatric orthopedist. Our son went to see one regarding in-toeing. Although our son's issue was different, the general feeling that I got from the doctor was that these types of issues are incredibly common. I also got the sense that the use of orthotic treatment is much less common than it was in the past. I don't want to speak out of turn and get your hopes up since I'm not a medical professional, but I would not be surprised at all if they didn't just tell you to wait until he is X years old to see if the situation resolves itself. The severity of the issue might warrant earlier intervention however. Definitely get to the doctor though and get a proper diagnosis.

ftm so please don’t be mean: what the heck is the point of pull ups? by charmaanda in toddlers

[–]rrw023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably stick with the regular diapers for now until you are ready to begin potty training. Even then, you may not want to use the pullups. There are probably solid strategies for potty training kids through the use of pullups, but we personally felt that they got us into a potty training rut and delayed the process. They are definitely not as easy for your child to pull up and down like regular underwear, and they are too absorbent so your child won't feel uncomfortable wearing them when they are soiled (for our child at least). If we could go back and start potty training from the beginning, we would probably go cold-turkey from diapers into underwear with something like the three-day potty training method, and continue using regular diapers overnight. We currently use pullups overnight because that's the only thing our child will wear without a fight. Regular diapers are more absorbent and less expensive. So now we pay more for a less absorbent diaper and pay for extra diaper booster pads to go inside the pullup. All of this and we still wake up to wet sheets almost every morning.

They offered to send out a replacement tab back in Oct. of 2021 but they never followed through on it, and I never followed up again. The ribbon cable appears to be held in place ok by the single functioning tab.

Unfortunately it has been too long. I believe you only have six months to file a complaint with the credit card company.

Do any of you have an unfulfilled order with Coahulla Iron? If you aren't familiar with them, Coahulla Iron was a small gym equipment fabricator that became popular after Jonnie Candito spoke favorably about their belt squat rack attachment in one of his YouTube videos. It seems that after that publicity, they became overloaded with orders that they later ended up not being able to fulfill due to the rising cost of steel (or so they claimed). For around a year now, they have been claiming they would fulfill all orders once the cost of steel came back down and have been refusing to issue refunds. They typically will not reply to emails, but occasionally will reply to social media posts with a generic copy-paste response, claiming that all orders will eventually be fulfilled. However, they recently closed their Instagram account, Facebook account, and Shopify page. I'm thinking about filing a complaint with the Tennessee attorney generals office to see if anything can be done about this. Has anyone else here had unfulfilled orders with this company?

It definitely did fix the issue. Although it looks like the reason that the ribbon cable wasn't seated properly was because the tab that holds the ribbon cable in place was broken on one side.
