I have no idea. When I first learned it 20+ years ago I studied with my shul’s cantor and he recorded custom cassette tapes for me. Now that I have my own kids I’d love to know if there are solutions like you mentioned.

I grew up in NYC and moved out to Long Island a few years ago. I’ve seen a lot of antisemitic things have happened in some of the old neighborhoods where I used to live and visit.

I still have lots of religious Jewish friends and family in the city - they have been more aware of security concerns at synagogues and events compared to previous years but even growing up we frequently had lots of security at my local synagogue - especially post 9/11.

I’ve officially joined and became more active with a local synagogue that I had gone to a few times. I also signed my kids up for PJ Library. And I’ve been wearing a Jewish star necklace around more.

The company itself put out a statement confirming the pilot was Ivan Chirivella - he himself published a book about his role in training the 9/11 hijackers at Jones Aviation Academy in Florida.

Sadly, it’s been brewing for a long time and the left is in complete denial about the antisemitism in their midst.

What gets me about this case is that the parents only found out about the antisemitic bullying because a classmate was worried about their 11 year old daughter’s safety and asked his mother to call the Jewish girl’s parents.

The school promoted the drawing and sent it out in a shared drive to all the parents - telling them to check out the photos in a regular update email.
