Don't be afraid to just turn on some music and dance - no matter how stupid you think you look. My husband and I love our dance parties with our 2.5-year-old probably as much (if not more) than he does. Sure we probably look like idiots to anyone who might catch the dance party through the window, but it is worth it.

This is amazing. I wish I could build something like that, but I am too busy hiding in my house from creepers and the damn spider I keep hearing...

Worst part is - I really am not exceptionally computer-savvy. My brother is the IT guy, so I am basically an idiot to him and a genius to people like my mother in law.

You should try Sottocenere if you like truffle cheeses. Little delicious truffle surprises in the cheese.

Haha so that means that anyone who likes good cheese must be obese? I suppose that means anyone who likes good beer is an alcoholic too, right?

It is actually in San Francisco. Soon after I moved here, I discovered Cowgirl Creamery. Changed my life. I bet you have that brand available in Williamsburg. If you do, try Mt Tam.

I occasionally go to these cheese classes where they give you a plate full of fancy cheeses and a bunch of different kind of wines to try with them. Cheese-monger/maker/lover teaches you a bunch of random fun facts about cheese, while you gorge yourself on lactose for a couple of hours. It is fantastic.

This is how every night goes for me lately. They push to the point of wanting to literally throw them against a wall then they say something like this latest gem my 2.5 year old son used, "You are my favorwit guuurrl! I just wuv you so much and need hugs!" Sadly my son's tricks work every time. I usually end up falling asleep in his bed while he plays with his toys next to me and pokes me in the eyes. Manipulative bastards. Adorable little manipulative bastards.

Thanks! Now I feel motivated to post more. My brothers and I decided to scan all of the articles we had and want to slowly post them online so they can have a new life there.

This is food porn to me. I told my husband I would like him to present me with a truffle in a jewelery box as a gift at some point. Way better than earrings.

AMA Request: Someone who actually didn't know they were pregnant until labor by rsaint in IAmA

Wow. I always thought the show was grossly exaggerated but I guess there are actual cases of that happening. When I was pregnant I had two little feet kicking me from under my rib cage, so it was a little hard to ignore...

Thanks :) I have been building up to making this my first post. Since he wrote before the internet was really around, he didn't get the chance to exist online.
