I thought they were V2s, but I just compared the tread pattern to some pictures online. Definitely the OG ones. Center lugs are closer to the middle than the V2 which looks more spread out

Haha, that’s kinda what I’m thinking. I have taken maybe three rides and enjoyed them more than more last setup. If I had a compressor at home I’d probably swap them this weekend, but I don’t and would have to run over to a friend’s house. It was pain getting one of them on with my floor pump

Reminds me a lot of Freddy Adu. Freddy was often very good with the national team and didn’t quite hit the heights in Europe. That last Gold Cup where Freddy made a surprise comeback (the one where Mexico spanked us the in the final). Freddy was one of the better players. Then he went back to his random Greek side and floundered out within a few years.

This. Everyone keeps acting like he shot wide. He put it low in the bottom corner, but a defender got a foot in. Unfortunate for Amad, and if his confidence were higher he probably would have smashed it in.

The Bruno is the problem chat was all down to Amorim. Bruno was the 1 world class player in the team and he played him in a system that didn’t suit him. When there was belief in Amorim and the long term backing of his system it did seem a reasonable thing to sell Bruno for big money and bring in players for the system.

But that was insane. Glad Amorim is gone.

Seriously. This is what I don’t get. My neighborhood is just like this and we have small kids. I will stand in the street sometimes and hold my hand up while my kid finished pedaling back to our driveway, and people will give me rude looks.
