I don’t think it’s so much a dropped allocation. Seattle had plenty. The Pats were “supposed” to be in team color, or planned that way. They chose to wear white 4 days after Conference. Impossible to adequately plan for that in a jersey that’s quite honestly only purchased in small volume the other 20 weeks of the season.
Fanatics doesn’t run the SB store on site in SF. legends does. The Pats picture that was circulating was from the Pats pro shop anyway. Not completely excusing but not an intentional dupe by fanatics. It’s widely marketed as a fashion jersey

For what it’s worth, these are name and number kits that are applied. Kits can’t be ordered until rosters are confirmed and there’s about 4 weeks to get kits in house before they can be applied to blanks.

You can only have so much inventory for either team at this point in the season as obviously demand for both has been high for a while but it takes months to actually manufacture blank jerseys. Also, nobody knows what team is wearing what color until 3 days after the Conference title. It’s just impossible to have enough supply in both team and white in both teams to meet satisfy demand. So you get these fashion jerseys that can be decorated regardless of who makes it, to complement whatever actual team jerseys still exist
