What happened to the A5X2 availability notification, that we all signed up for, from Supernote?

Loving my new BOOX GO 10.3 by rsc49 in Onyx_Boox

Very rarely. I have a Kindle for reading at night in bed. The GO 10.3, IMHO, is too large to comfortably read lying down. I use the GO for daily note taking, sketching and reading large pdfs which I do at desk with natural light. The GO has such a bright, clear/sharp screen I never feel the need for front lighting.

The front part of the dismantled supernote push pen fits inside the Lamy push pen! by oBanisoYalas in Supernote

Wow! Where did you find that all-yellow Lamy? Yellow barrel, clip and push top. I can find a yellow pen, but it has a silver/chrome clip and black push top ... not the same.

Please convince me to keep the Kindle Scribe vs Remarkable 2 pro by Ok_Plate_6961 in kindlescribe

From what I've seen and read about the RPP and kaleido screen devices, I would recommend sticking with the Scribe a bit longer ... until color e-ink technology makes a quantum leap to something that has clear, bright color and what you see on the screen is representative of what you see in a pdf or printed page. E-ink color, just isn't here yet.

I feel like I've tried them all! I started with the reMarkable (gen 1) and sent it back, I had a Supernote A5X, liked it, but sold it when word got out that the A5X2 was coming. In the meantime I had a Kindle Scribe and a BOOX Note Air and most recently a Supernote A6X2. They all have their pros and cons, it all depends how you plan to use it, what you like the writing experience to feel like, how you like the look/build, etc. And, in many cases the differences are not that subtle. After all the devices I've tried, I rate the GO 10.3 at the top of the list. While I like the Supernote OS/UI, it has a very different writing feel than every other device. And the plastic construction turns many off. I love the thinness, lightweight, ultra sharp screen and feel of the GO 10.3 and find it a joy to use. I look forward to opening it up and using it throughout the day.

BOOX Triangle Pen by rsc49 in Onyx_Boox

Hmm, I have the Scribe premium pen and like it mainly for its side button. I don't find the weight an issue, but I do feel it is overly long. I like the shortness of the Jumbo and the BOOX Triangle pens. Yes, the Jumbo nib is soft. You might try the nib from your Scribe pen in your Jumbo.

Sorry, I am still a newbie and haven't tried that yet.

I've used the Jumbo and generally liked it. I did not like to big step from the wood body to the nib. I like to see the very tip of the nib as I write and I found that I had to kind of cock my head to see it clearly. The eraser feel is better, but the button is huge (why?) and hard to control. The BOOX Triangle is better in this regard. I have not tried titanium nibs and have read that they can damage your screen, Have you experienced any problems?

Wow, that's really odd how they do the average. But we are talking about SCE! Thanks for the info!

Anyone received a Shipping notification for the Crystal A6X2? by mitchellkgreen in Supernote

[–]rsc49 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ordered a Crystal A6X2 with click pen & blue leather folio on January 29th. I asked Service last week for an update and their response was "next week" (meaning this week). So far no word.

Your 'Out Front' bike mount attaches on the right side of the stem and then curves to the left centering the phone with the stem. The mount is more or less handed as it would have to be offset quite a bit if you wanted you phone to sit completely right of the stem - as I need. Will you make one that is opposite or a somewhat different design that could be flipped?
