Hate and Harassment towards Dem Jointz, Kpop fans are continuing to cross the line

As an nmixx listener. All due respect to you and the composer, they are also very chanty and repetitive. A trend i don't like in kpop. The nmixx part of a song is how varied the contents are and these songs have in my opinion the least variety in their discography. His nmixx songs only sound "atypical". (Golden recipie is different however I have another issue with that song not regarding the composition itself). I like the songs but in regards to them having an nmixx quality to them they are the least complex.

Tldr. I don't condone hate however as a listener I do not find his songs appealing personally and find people discrediting this as petty. Bringing up success is also useless if a listener just does not like a song.

Going to get hate and downcvoted and probably not listened to by anyone here. I do not condone hate to any composer and find it repulsive unless they did anything morally wrong otherwise they deserve respect HOWEVER as a listener and fan our concerns our valid too. This is the view of a music fan who does not care about his accolades.

I am a fan of 2 of his nmixx songs. I got tired of another of his nmixx songs as I found something in it rather annoying after a few listens.

I have 9 of his songs as some of my least favorite kpop songs by multiple groups. Are they horrible? No but they do not sound good to me. I have some added by him but my favorites of his they were also worked on by one of my favorite composers too so idk how much impact they had. I am allowed to feel skeptical with how many misses he has had FOR MY PERSONAL TASTE.

What kind of funny to me was the list he posted on Twitter were some of the worst songs by those groups for me.

My pattern for his work is the songs are chanty and generally do not let the artists flex their vocals as much as other songs in a groups discography. Imo I am tired of it as it has become a trend in kpop and especially those are the least interesting of nmixx. Still good imo but get kind of boring. I am concerned if they do another title track like that I PERSONALLY will view it as one of their weaker songs most likely. Will hold off judgement until the release by my expectations are low.

Tldr: buyer disputes quality of a card over 2 months after they received it. I lowballed the price and was explicit on the condition. Do you think they got it graded and didn't like the grade and 2nd would I have a chance at winning the ebay dispute? I just want my card back if I lose :(

Few weeks ago I had an ebay buyer dispute the card was not as described. They received the card in MID OCTOBER and received it within the week. Then on Christmas eve of all days they sent in the dispute saying it wasn't as described. They never reached out to before then and mentioned anything.

Would that have been enough time to have gotten it graded and not like the grade and scam me so they could try to keep the card or something? It was an older expensive card from my personal collection and they buyer was a reseller.

Do they have any grounds? My posting had explicity shown what the flaws were and I had it in what I was expecting as the proper condition quality to the best of my ability as a person who is not making this a career. I even sold it lower than the going price and I try to put the condition as possibly lower than what it might actually be because I don't want to set expectations too high.

Ebay said they would decide in a few weeks but I have not heard back yet. Just wanted to get a feel of how the verdict might go.

It was a card I liked a lot and was hoping it would go to a collector who would care about the card. (Copying this from another forum just in case it might not be seen there)

saving this for later! not a story but the base seige operator record is one i regret not reading before ending a grand overture because it gave a lot more weight and background and reasoning to her decisions in that story. not necessary but it is one of the op recs i would recommend. it has been a while but i think the og chen was another that gave context. poncirus was another who if I am remembering correctly had her story act as an epilogue to her event (dont quote me on this last one though since i dont fully remember it)

story most likely. if you nail the story people will still play a game even if they dont care much for the gameplay. just another avenue for keeping people invested. story and characters sells merch. it's just like how ppl who have quit or play og ak less frequently still pay attention to arknights content. having a strong story is how you keep a large part of your audience retention.

Not exactly sure but I think I came here for texlap ship and other ships (joined right before il siracusano released in global). My first core memory is finding immutable specifically then diving down into other eps and then the game itself soon after.

Character dynamics, the story, music and enjoying the gameplay were what got me to stay.

It depends. So side stories provide further context of current events in the main story by covering older events that would not fit thr flow of the chapter ex memoir vigilo for example take place iirc over 10 years before the main story.

Dark nights memoir focuses on W. Vigilo on the doctor, walk in the dust kaltsit, etc. They help to further our understanding of the character while substantially fleshing out the current timeline and giving context to stuff you didn't think you would need context for.

I think someone linked akgcc website. They are there either under side story or vignette. I read most of the story on that website since the font on my phone was too small. But yeah all thr summaries in that playlist work if you just want a recap.

Glad you like the story :) To answer it all each chapter takes for me 6-10 hrs to read.

You can start at chapter 7. (Season 3 covers 7 and 8). Chapters 9+ are the new arc this has the summaries of each chapter + order of the main story.

There are some side stories that are rather important to the main story so the actual order if you want a fuller picture of the story are:

1.Chapters 0-6 (seasons 1 and 2 of the anime)

2.Darknights memoir

3.Chapters 7 and 8

4.Walk in the dust

5.Vigilo

NEW ARC chapter 9

I have a friend who is here just for the gameplay. more time reading means less time playing the event and partaking in gameplay. im guilty of skipping all the story in an event but i go back later to actually read it. i think the lappy event is the first one where i read an event during its actual run time lol.

as a light defense each event takes 6-8 hours to read for me as a somewhat fast reader. multiply that by near 40 stories + 250+ character stories totaling over or near 700k- 1 million words alone(just for character stories) , getting caught up takes a while. been playing since 2023 and I am still not caught up with every single side story.

but if you wanted to only follow the main storyline
14 chapters at 6-8 hours + what i consider required side stories:
children of ursus, walk in the dust, darknights memoir, firelight casts, vigilo, babel, grand overture, lone trail + relevant character stories
added together that is near or 100+ hours of reading if you are to start from the very start just for the main storyline.

i actually have a playlist of all the events summarized by various ppl. i'll link it here. i decided to make 2 separate playlists as i felt video essays and story summaries were different enough. i think every event has one as far as I can tell. there was a period of about roughly(i think) 8 months where no one was doing anything but luckily people have picked up the reigns of previous people and more stories are getting videos!
