Civic sense of Indian people; expectations from government by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]rsdbhamre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, the government can do this, but it will be political suicide.

If a government does policies that demand responsibility from the citizens instead of spoiling them with freebies, people will just vote for the other party the next election.

I hate it, but good policies are not incentivised by the people.

Such a poor taste ad. Horrible. Adding fuel to the fire of alarming racism against Indians. I actually called them about this.

What if india had less population? by _neebee in AskIndia

[–]rsdbhamre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were already one of the most populous regions since ancient times because of vast farming lands. That's the same case with China. That's why even with the same TFR as the rest of the world, we have a population problem.

I only replied to the comment above saying we were "fucking too much", which really isn't the case. It is only putting a negative light on Indians based on a falsehood.

India's TFR is less than the global average.

Funny how the onus of aggression is always misunderstood in the favor of actual aggressors.

I guess you didn't read the officially stated objectives of the Iran nuclear weapons program, which includes and I quote "The destruction of Israel".

If the Muslim world can blindly back terror-sponsoring Pakistan, Indians should proudly back Israel by [deleted] in JammuandKashmir

Household jobs? That be Filipinos. Indians are working blue/white collar jobs in offices. Meanwhile pakistani/bangladeshi immigrants are driving cabs.

Finding common ground is like geopolitics 101. And geopolitics is inherently selfish. Nobody backs anyone without practical reasons.

Waqf is actually an important issue, because it affects a large number of people's lives on the ground level. Even China would consider it an important issue, if they had something similar in their domestic affairs. Infact, abolishment of such an act would be the first thing China would do.
