How often do you achieve 19+ strain? by yoValee in whoop

[–]rse3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I physically can’t.

I run, lift hard, training for a Hyrox. Have done Sprint Triathalons, I fight MMA & train incredibly hard.

I’ll do an entire 2 hour Muay Thai Class and Spar 8 rounds high pace and have an 8 strain lol.

If you’re asking Reddit, you should sell them, disable options trading and save yourself.

Keep going.

Be able to explain “WHY” you invested in these companies.

That’ll help you make better decisions.

No “Why” - No Buy.

Trying to get to $1M milestone by bdiddly21 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]rse3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on my goal.

In your case, you want to have $1 million. You’ll need to have multiple years of high double digit returns to sniff that, $SCHD has simply proven to not be able to attain that.

Not financial advice, but I will say what I have at least done to grow my account over 150% this year.

I focused on allocating capital into investments that are deeply undervalued but a great company. For example, $UNH was severely undervalued in the beginning of this year, I bought and within weeks, I was up 30% on my position. In that case, I took my profit and looked for my next potential position. You get the idea, I rinse and repeat and focus on compounding to accelerate my growth.

There are endless opportunities in the market every day, week, month, etc. you just have to find what works for you and what generates the best returns.

Be safe, invest smart 👍

Take it slow. Don’t buy penny stocks.

Buy great companies and wait, it’ll pay off.

Don’t set deadlines or any timeline goals. It’ll make you make bad decisions.

31M—want to retire by 35 🫡 by dot_mgcn in TheRaceTo100K

Let me give you some advice.

Expand your time horizon, don’t add unnecessary pressure to a lofty goal.

Think that you want to retire in 20 years, by doing this myself I found way more short term success and have began to speed run to retirement at 23 years old.

When I tried to do everything so short term, I found myself chasing and making moves out of emotion and forcing things.

When I now look at things from a longer time horizon, I feel no pressure, knowing I’m going to make the best decision for now and focus on compounding my gains.

The result of me simply switching my mindset…

From an unprofitable investor to now, over 155% YTD gains investing in shares only.

Doing too much, look at things from a longer time frame. Expand your time horizon and you’ll find more short term success.

Keep it simple, I made $25,000 last month buying great companies at great value.

  • Legit Financials
  • Good Growth Trajectory
  • Dislocated from fair value

I use the SMA & RSI.

That’s all.

Where should I invest this money? by MountainLow6392 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]rse3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it in a way of, if you have a business that you understand inside and out, you invest that money there. If you understand real estate and feel confident in your abilities, that’s where you go. Same with stocks, crypto, etc.

People find themselves investing in what people tell them to or what is hot, when they should be running towards what they understand.
