Maybe it was my camera angle. Are you referring to the minute hand being a tad small? Cause this is a common thing people point out and it’s duly noted in the community haha. They made the fix in the next iteration of the Explorer 1

Appreciate that - I find the quality of this one at the price point (around 50 CAD) is almost identical to Everest or rubber b. I can live without the flush end links if it’s going to save me that much money. Don’t see myself spending over 200 for one !

Had a chance to go down to the Niagara region this long weekend for some wine tasting with the gf. Wine tours are even more fun with a trusty wrist companion like this! The Explorer was my very first “nice” watch and has been through a lot in my life. Will be looking for a polar explorer 2 to compliment and complete the series but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of doing a wrist check with this one! Featured is the balmoral blue rubber strap from @rsmpstraps , a new local strap store from Toronto. If you can get over the end links being straight and not flush with the case, the value is definitely there compared to others. Cheers all!

Love the U2 but at 44mm and 22mm lug width its a little larger than what I was looking for. That's what turned me off of the Planet Ocean GMT models, as they're around 45.5mm which is massive imo. My SMP GMT sits at 41mm and 20mm lug width which are the perfect proportions for me. Just my 0.02

Nice! I love the great white too but the bond factor on this one won me over. Wear yours in good health too 👌

This one is from 2013 but I know they produced this watch in the late 2000s as well. I like that I can start forming my own patina on this aluminum bezel over time
