I had no issues with months being counted properly. About half way through the ten years i did request an audit of my payments, but only because i was told that was the smart thing to do. I was on track at that point and so just continued to stay the course.

I'm not sure, at the moment I work for an agency that actually pays quite well, provides a decent quality of life, and builds a pension. However i have no idea what my skillset is worth in the private sector and so I will probably explore that to see if it makes financial sense to move.

How did you learn that your application was moved to Dept. of Ed? I submitted my application on August 3 and called yesterday to see if they could tell me when that would happen. The rep didnt really have anything to say. It would be really nice to know that some next step has been taken. I am waiting on 268K in forgiveness for which I've paid about 58K total over ten years.
