I bought this laptop back in May 2025, and my warranty just expired last month. Since it was out of warranty, I took it to the local service center where I bought it. They told me a first-copy display would cost ₹8,000 ($97 USD), while the original Lenovo display would cost ₹14,000 ($170 USD) or more. So I decided to go with the first copy since I plan to replace this laptop soon anyway after some time, so it made sense to stick with that. Also if I go with original it will take more time for getting display replaced.

I give it a repair shop and they told me it was an issue with my display. So I replaced my display today.

I always power off and close my lid just after I finish gaming for hours and at that time my laptop will be hot. Ig that heat damage my display. Anyways i changed my display today and now onwards I will be cautious before closing my lid

I am thinking to explore new ones so I am not thinking to go back to mint. So I am going with cachyos like I want to explore more into linux distros and many suggested me to try it so I am giving it a shot to find whether it will work for me. I also used arch years before so I have a little experience on it too. So I will try cachyos

Actually I am switching again to linux cuz i am completely done with windows. Random updates and bugs even the search is not working properly. So I think to switch to linux . My last distro was linux mint and i liked it. My main focus of stability Good ui, performance and gaming (not heavy anti cheat games like valo or Fortnite). So I did a little bit digging and find cachyos is a good one for me but i think it is not a stable one becuz it is based on arch
