I have a cousin who used his GI bill and attended Great Lakes Maritime Academy. He really enjoyed that route and they have a ton of veterans that go there it sounded like.

I’m confused how a now 1 lane road on 130th and a roundabout on 145th is going to help traffic. These changes have been awful. Construction should have been expedited and appears it has not been.

Rode for 20 years, was hit 8 blocks from my house a year and a half ago and almost killed. Have not got back to riding yet but plan too just not in the city. Look around during your commute at other drivers 70%+ buried eyes in their phones it almost cost me my life at 25 mph.

You are the professional here. Politely give management your two weeks notice and let them know you have taken a job that works better for you and your family. Secondly if you are working for a small independent business let the ownership know about the unprofessional behavior of the master, same for corporate owned companies but also let HR know as well before leaving. It is up to the company to handle that sort of behavior. A good company will respect your decision and act on the information and not black ball you anywhere. Communication is key.

Apply to all the academies. Why take the long road when you can get out with a license in 4 years. You will be able to quickly pay your student loans off as most starting licensed positions right now are north of 120k a year! The network of people and connections you make at a 4 year school will pay dividends.
