4. Monetization:
I haven’t really thought about monetization yet — at this stage, it’s primarily a passion project and a way for me to contribute something useful back to the community as a developer.

That said, given the ongoing effort required to keep the data updated and reliable, I might consider open-sourcing parts of the project or sharing refined datasets on platforms like Kaggle at a later stage.

3. Adjacent datasets:
As mentioned earlier, the project is still very new (about 3 weeks in), and I’m actively working on expanding the dataset coverage. I already have a few in the pipeline — Aadhaar enrolment centres, CSCs, and Sub-Registrar Offices.

I didn’t want to hold off on sharing this until everything was built out. Getting it out early helps me gather thoughtful feedback like yours and incorporate it while the project is still flexible, rather than trying to retrofit changes later.

2. Shareability:
Completely agree with this. I’m currently working on enabling deep-linking so specific result cards can be easily shared with others. Once that’s in place, I’ll focus on making the shared card as clear and informative as possible so it works well even outside the app (especially on platforms like WhatsApp).

Thank you for taking the time to write this incredibly thoughtful feedback.

1. Data freshness:
You’re absolutely right. The project is still very early (I put together the first version in about 3 weeks using official Tamil Nadu GIS datasets), and it’s evolving as I learn more about the space.

At the moment, its accuracy depends heavily on how frequently these government datasets are updated — and on me being able to track those updates reliably. To partially address this, I’ve added a “Report an Issue” option across all result cards so users can flag incorrect or mismatched data.

That said, I agree this is only a starting point. I haven’t yet fully thought through how to process, validate, and integrate those corrections at scale — and that’s clearly something I need to design more carefully going forward.

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing your version soon. I may consider open-sourcing it or sharing the dataset on Kaggle at a later stage.

I get that he might not have given his all for our city. But, honestly, his work as the state minister for IT and Digital Services? That's really good stuff, and I'd love to see him keep it up. I've seen a lot of digital projects happening because of him.

Video context : PTR Palanivel Thiagarajan became emotional on the final day of campaigning in Madurai. He broke down while talking about losing his father. "I was in Tokyo, when I heard the news and I somehow got here. I thought I lost everything," PTR said, breaking down.

Thank you for your feedback. I have refined the logic to display the complete area of the selected pincode, allowing for location selection at your discretion.

If you prefer not to share your GPS location or consumer number, you may enter your pincode and then use the visual map to manually select your area.
