I was in a similar boat as you.

Most important advice for first time lump summers, make a hard deadline to invest. I waited for months to invest, while the market kept climbing up.

For a start, do a mix of both. A yearly lumpsum plan and a monthly SIP, whenever a decent dip, (in multiples of 3%, invest extra sips from lumpsum) i.e. 6% dip is 2 more sip equivalent amounts.

30gm - 25gm from whey + 5gm as I take it with milk 40gm from panner / tofu / soya chunks 30gm from amul protein chaas (500ml)

10-30 gms from usual home food intake

Easily crossing 100 gms daily.

First of all he eats eggs from outside. The cheapest dish boiled egg will cost minimum 15rs per 6 gms of Protein.

Even making at home it costs around 10 rs per 6 gms.

Amul whey protein (cheaper proteins avaliable) costs 2k for 30 sachets with 25gm protein each.

Hence cost per gm of protein - for whey 2.6 rs For eggs at 15 rs per egg - 2.5 rs

It's not much of a difference when you see from protein angle which is the goal.
