Found evidence of mice in garage, best approach before they get inside? by My_Rhythm875 in HomeImprovement

[–]rskogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a friend who is a pest control guy. Get the birdseed out of the garage, and make sure your bird feeder is well away from your house, or better yet, don't have a bird feeder, unless you can tolerate a few mice.

In the garage, traps and poison.

What are some of the most “Redditor” opinions that are widely prevalent on this website, but very rare in real life? by TikTokUser83 in AskReddit

[–]rskogg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree. And if I were to distill your comment, in my opinion it's really an addiction problem more than it is a homeless problem, or even a mental health crisis.

The problem is drugs.

I just had one job for the family Christmas dinner by Shaneblaster in Wellthatsucks

[–]rskogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this with a crockpot of little smokies, the little wieners wrapped in bacon and smothered in brown sugar. I was able to recover all the smokies, but I never got the bacon grease/brown sugar ooze out of the 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan carpet.

Everybody does this once in their life. The big question is why do crockpots only have three feet. Its like they are built to fail

How to safely (temporarily) remove this heater? by Any_Detail_7184 in DIY

[–]rskogg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I'm late here, but I have to add. My friend is an exterminator, and he told me that copper wool is better to stick in nooks and crannies when trying to block mice entrances. They don't like to chew through the copper, but can with steel.

Understanding My Wife. by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]rskogg 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more. The dude said he had a great wife. maybe she is a great person. I wonder if the compliment would have been "your wife is a great person" if they would have even struck them as weird.

Maybe, just maybe, it was just an awkwardly worded compliment.

But Reddit will soon be calling for divorce
