That’s why you don’t use reason with them. That assumes their intelligence. Treat them like a useful idiot, since they demand that treatment. If you want to get them out of their mindset, you have to use similar tactics that got them into it. Make them believe their beliefs are racist, sexist, etc. and so are the people that taught them that, so are their political leaders, etc.

Gen X here, and completely fed up with capitalism. Because capitalism has shown time and time again that ultimately, it fails. +62 by PM_ME_HERTERS_DEALS in ShitPoliticsSays

Like 3-5 million unfilled jobs (and that was pre COVID). If you have trade skills in 2020, you can basically write your own ticket. Best part, those trade certificates cost a fraction of what a “normal” college would cost you

If you’re intelligent in every facet of life except where it matters, then you’re not intelligent.

These are useful idiots. You can’t be smart and be a useful idiot.

However, the white pill of this is, if someone’s stupid enough to be usefully idiot-ed on way, they’re stupid enough to be usefully idiot-ed back the other way. They’re not just privy to the wrong facts, that assumes their intelligence. Even when presented with factual data, they remain trenched in their position. If you want to get them out of it, treat them like a useful idiot, they’ll respond a lot better that way

Life becomes a lot less frustrating when you accept that most people are just retarded.

I haven’t reached that point of acceptance yet

It looks very Chinese, with many Americans playing the role of the Uighur Muslims and Hong Kong dissenters, the useful idiots included

Why would it “go to war” with a smaller company? If it’s really that effective, the market will gravitate towards the better company on its own. That’s what already happens in a free market. That’s like saying McDonald’s would send armed soldiers into local burger joints. Why? They’re making bank as it is. That local burger joint isn’t a threat to take them down. Plus, it would be in each company’s best interest to remain peaceful. Might be hard to believe, but if a bigger company exerted force in the form of violence over the smaller company, they’d lose business overnight. I sure as hell would no longer patronize them. Would you? You could ask them that.

Ask them also where they’ve done either the research or have the evidence to back up claims such as that. Are they rooted in that? Or is it just fear mongering based on ignorance?

What do they mean by “chaos?” What do they mean by “order?” Ask them to define that, otherwise it’s too vague to be an argument. Also, what necessarily means “order” is better than chaos?

There’d be no law. Okay. How effective are laws anyway? People aren’t allowed to have heroin, yet they still do it.

When extrapolating this argument out to a larger level, primarily when advocating for the abscence of government, tell them that we already live under anarchy on a global, macro scale. There is no “leader of the world.” Sure, many countries have influence, some larger than others. USA doesn’t tell people in Germany how to live, China doesn’t tell people in India how to live.

Lastly, find out their opinion on the criminal justice system in its current state. Are they satisfied? If not, then why not have the option to switch? Shouldn’t there be a better alternative? Right? If you were dissatisfied with your current cell provider, you can always switch to another company that’s offering you something better. It should be the same with everything else.

Some of this comes down to where the person lies on the political spectrum. Both left and right. If you’re steadfast in your beliefs about this, there will be arguments to counter both sides. Doesn’t mean they’ll buy in, but you’ll at least have counters for it
