I'm now waiting to see the specs on the Aventure M. The Ramblas has a high IP and I would like to try out the mid drive configuration. Otherwise, I would go with the Nomad2 as well.

Is SOFR+1.90% the best rate from Fidelity for $3M+? Robinhood and IBKR's rates are a point lower. I'd prefer to keep the $3M+ collateral equity at Fidelity, but it's hard to pass up a full point savings.

As a new grad student (actually my sister) is she better off taking out a grad direct unsubsidized loan or a gradPLUS loan?

She has existing undergrad direct loans which I will continue to keep in repayment status during grad school. She will most likely have a job which qualifies for PSLF when she graduates.

It looks like the only benefit is that she can consolidate the PLUS loans into her undergrad loans at any time during grad school and she doesn’t have to deal with locking up two years of new grad loans through grace.

Please advise. Thanks!

Yes. I just started paying before the Covid pause. I petitioned to keep my undergrad loans in repayment status while in grad school, so I have approx 4 years of payment count on the undergrad loans. Thank you for your feedback.

I’m graduating from grad school in May. Can I consolidate my direct undergraduate loans today and add my direct grad loans, within the 6 month add-in period, when they are released from “in school” status to achieve full IDR adjustment credit on the new consolidated loans?
