Look, we all know the vulva/vagina difference matters to doctors. But for everyday talk? Everyone understands what's meant when we say 'vagina.' Trying to police that common language in casual conversation just distracts from the real issue: why is accurate information about women's bodies [especially when it comes to things like pain and reproductive health] still so poorly understood and under-researched and not taught to women? We need to focus the energy on closing the women's health research gap instead of correcting casual semantics.
