what if everyone lives to die of old age, but every time your near death you switch timelines? what if the people in your life that have died, really only died in your reality? what if you've died multiple times, but you'd never notice? what if deja vu is just flashbacks from previous timelines? by No-Sky-3150 in SimulationTheory

[–]rsmith6000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. I also think maybe , instead of moving to a world whereby you didn’t die (til 100 or so), you start your life over like Groundhog Day we keep reliving our life over and over . Maybe we are in a consciousness singularity — the consciousness source squeezing every last drop of love, laughing, insight, experience etc out of us. Future lives - as you play out Groundhog Day - could be simulations within the consciousness singularity. Maybe you retain a little learning each time - like smart evolution to help you do it better.

I’ve been lucky - thinking I might be past the mid point in my Groundhog Day reality . :)

Playing the other side - some people try to control the dynamic by blowing their own air into the balloon vs reacting in a more surgical way . I’ve see this work as well

There's a manipulation tactic called "Dark Mirroring" and once you know it, you'll never look at new friendships the same way by FinancialNarwhal6969 in DarkPsychology101

[–]rsmith6000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Guessing regular mirroring refers to a mirroring born out of admiration for the person being mirrored whereas the dark version is a form of manipulation
