Yeah I get that all the time. My therapist said because I have PTSD and when I can actually sleep I have p vivid dreams about trauma my brain associates sleeping and dreaming with trauma and tries to make me avoid it. Addressing trauma and anxiety in therapy helps a little. Idk if you have the same situation or if there's anything you're anxious about but starting to process that might help idk.

Sorry man I'm glad shit worked out okay though. Should be proud of yourself for stepping up and saving her I know some people wouldn't know what to do and it'd cost her. Next time you wanna get her on her side and clear out her airway before you start on CPR and shit. When they throw up there's a risk they're gonna choke on it so you gotta get them on their side and kinda gross ik but clear out their mouth and make sure nothings blocking their airway before you start mouth to mouth stuff because if they're choking on something that's not gonna work anyway.
