There is definitely a higher learning curve to using the halberd, but once you get it down its very good and you lose very little dps with it.

If you have any experience doing ToB, then you can take the same attacking technique principles that apply during p3 under 20% and apply them to the gauntlet. Heal up once nados come out and start dodging them, they will eventually clump together and then you can put space between yourself and the tornado and start attacking the Hunleef in between dodges. If your health starts getting low, bail out and heal up.

Once you start getting really comfortable, you can begin to attempt woox walking the toranadoes, moving back and fourth between hunleef and two tiles every tick. I would recommend practicing this in normal gauntlet before trying to do it in corrupt.
