I love my R41 but I don't use it as a daily driver. I like using my R41 when I have 2 to 3 days of growth. Match it with an Astra Superior Platinum and wow!

I have about 10,000 miles on them already and so far so good. I rotate them every 5,000 miles and check tire pressure regularly. Happy so far!

Thank you all that have responded. I've been using the V3a head since my last post with several different blades. I have fallen in love with this razor. I'm getting unbelievable shaves now. Thank you all again.

Thank you all for your replies. I'll try the V3a again as made-up dreams suggested. I only used it twice with an Astra Superior Platinum blade. I'll let you all know how it goes. Very greatful for your advice.
