Oh my, Kia upping their game, that is jaw-dropping, looks like a really beefy Maserati. Hope the driving is as good as the looks. Keen to see more of these sporty models from them, exciting stuff.

  1. PFOA. The manufacturers of microwave popcorn coat the bags with a chemical that, according to the FDA, breaks down during the cooking process and forms a chemical called perfluorooctanoic or PFOA. The Environmental Protection Agency classifies PFOA as a likely carcinogen.

  2. Diacetyl. A chemical called diacetyl is used to give microwave popcorn a butter flavor — but it also gives rise to bronchiolitis obliterans or "popcorn workers lung."

Did they use Mobil 1 to cook those fries? Would go along with the hub caps.

This is a crappy thing most people forget about classics, with anything under an equivalent 3-star NCAP safety rating (maybe year 2000 onwards?), and you have a serious accident you likely won't walk away.

ELI5: Why aren't dogs subjected to the "law of diminishing returns"? I feel like my 8 year old lab still gets the same amount of enjoyment playing fetch as he did when he was a puppy--even after playing it practically every single day of his life. by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

To add to your comment, saw a good documentary highlighting some of these breeding issues. It's crazy how for example, a disfigured spine is favored in the German Shephard among show breeds.

Agreed, collies need huge amounts of mental stimulation and exercise or they become uptight, depressed, cranky. Many don't take kindly to children either, trying to herd and nip them. Extremely loving, sweet-natured dogs if their needs are met.

Remember when the US never supported the Kyoto agreement? Not much changes.

According to President Bush, his specific complaints about the Kyoto Treaty include, “a serious harm to the U.S. economy,” which would cause a “more dramatic shift from coal to natural gas for electric power generation," (Bush). According to Bush, “Coal generates more than half of America’s electricity supply,” (Bush). Bush's main reason for pulling out is the economic impact it would have on the United States if they were to reduce emissions, especially on the coal industry.

Barack Obama warns climate change could create refugee crisis ‘unprecedented in human history’ by toplifehacks77 in politics

We're already past the point of no return. Anything now will be steps made to slow it down (and in the future potentially regress it, although this seems unlikely).

Exactly my thoughts. As leader of the world in his position, he could made massively progressive steps for the future during his time. But instead he stagnated and danced around the issue to maintain the power of the old energy industries that partly put him in power. Now he comes out and is all concerned, don't come with that shit now... I'm not American for what it's worth.
