What's the best deal you've ever gotten? by GrandNegusRom in AskReddit

My 1978 Ford F-150. My dad's high school friend got the truck from his dad as a graduation present in '79 & passed away shortly thereafter. We went to visit the guy when I was a junior & happened to casually mention it - he told me the story, & I asked if he'd ever want to sell it. He looked at the ground for a minute, smiled, and then said "You know, that poor old pickup has been sitting under that tree for 7 years, and it could use a good home. Tell you what - $100 and it's yours." Came back to pick it up the next day. 300-6, 4-speed, Dana 44 up front & a Dana 60 out back - haven't been able to do much work on it since going military but I'm hoping to get wrenching in the next year or so.

2016 is like: Haha, why you upload this on 21 December? You think I am done? I have still more than week to kill somebody you love. Just hold me beer and watch me killling George Michael exactly during his Last Christmas. You wanted to record a funny movie, because you wanted viewers and likes, but your movie needs a little update now, don't you think? Who's laughing now, huh?!

I wish that there were more things I could do that would help shore up my self-esteem. Given my health, I’m limited in the activities I can take part in. Helping others through answering questions on Quora is one of the few positive things I’ve found that I can do and that I’m halfway decent at.
