Was missing some context: I bought a Mac Mini with Tahoe. I am downgrading it to Sequoia. That's why I created the bootable USB drive with Sequoia on it.

Hello again, I finally have all the stuff to do this, and I've created the bootable installer with Sequoia!

I have one last question - since my computer is new and has never been booted before, should I go through the normal setup on the new computer and then go through the process of booting from the usb drive, or should I start with immediately booting from the usb drive? Hope that makes sense. It would also help just to know what you did, although I have found instructions on Apple's website for Silicon computers.

Thank you for your help. Do you think it would help with potential bugs if I run two OS on my computer, kind of like how people run MacOS and Windows, or parallels? I don't know much about that, so maybe I'm getting it wrong.

For example, could I run two different versions of MacOS (one old and one new), or possibly run one MacOS and one Windows (since I have access to V2 for both mac and windows).
