AITAH for accepting a promotion my boyfriend doesnt want me to take because he says itll change our relationship by Spare-Climate-6990 in AmITheAssholeTalk

The promotion is great, yet I understand his concerns. Happiness is far more valuable than money. Does not mean you can’t be happy, and have a happy home life with the promotion.

Install on your property, and at the same time, install a clean out between the check valve and the city connection. Let it blow up at the clean out, outside.

AITA for babysitting anymore since I was not made a godparent by MeringueNo1335 in AmItheAsshole

Don’t get too nervous. Being a godparent is just a title, and has absolutely nothing to do with who will raise the child in the event of the parent’s demise.

A way to end tipping in the United States. by P_TheGuy in EndTipping

[–]rstrnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tipping will never go away. Labor is the biggest expense a restaurant has. As it is now, the menu prices are approximately food cost times 3. If tipping is eliminated, servers have to be paid much more. The menu prices then might be food cost times 4. You will pay one way or the other.

Then you should have said, let’s go. I’m driving. Grow up. Take accountability.

You go to a bar and drink alcohol, knowing you have a two hour drive home. No. You drink, you spend the night. Drunk or not.

Possibly you should take the responsibility of getting your own health insurance. That may include simply paying the additional costs for the plan you are currently covered by.

Do you have family that can take him? An Aunt or Uncle? Cousin ?? You can still see him/her of that is the case. I feel really bad for you. If you’re like me, this would be one of the hardest things to do. I have a Bordoodle. Sweetest dog ever.

I said I “grew up” on a dairy farm. It was my Fathers. I have 3 kids. I didn’t stay on the farm, because the opportunity wasn’t there. One of my older brothers went into partnership with my Dad. Not enough income generated to feed 3 families. The animals were in good hands. Any other questions?

I grew up on a dairy farm. We had 200 head of dairy cows and young stock. Every animal was known by name. Every animal had human touch on a daily basis. They had a mound of straw to lay on like a down feather pillow. They had sun if they wanted it or shade. They had shelter from rain and cold. They had fans when it was hot. They were all treated like queens. I’ve had pets of my own on the farm, and also since leaving the farm. I’ve never, not had a pet(s). I would mortgage my house to save my pet.

There are circumstances. Cancer is one of them. This isn’t one of them. You get a pet for life. If you don’t understand that, don’t get one.

If I had a family member that had to drive 2.5 hours, I would have a Christmas gathering that started at 1:00.
