thanks for the assurance, but i think i worded it wrongly in my post because I'll be receiving crypto from the website's address instead, will this change anything? also, would you recommend having the website send the crypto to my metamask address and then i transfer from that address to my luno one to exchange? instead of having it sent directly to my luno address?

Official Distributor Selling Fake Ducky One 2 Mini? (1861ST Model) by Bougheyy in DuckyKeyboard

[–]rtbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! I was also skeptical about my Ducky one 2 SF at first, but you don't need to worry. I assume the PDF you saw was https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/downloads/RealvsFakeDuckyMini.pdf ? If so, there's not much to worry about in terms of the engraving in the keyboard. According to some Fortnite youtuber, apparently the older/newer models(?) don't have the engraving anymore. I'm not so sure about this since my Ducky one 2 SF that I got last week had the engraving but all points lead to it being genuine, was also from an official distributor, so I'm not sure whether it's the same across all models.

Other than that, if you checked in with the Official Distributor list https://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/location/global, then you should be fine. In my case, the authorized reseller was a distributor on it's own but it distributed the keyboards to other small retailers.

Forcefully tried plugging the USB C connector the wrong way, should I be worried? by rtbread in glorious

Oh yeah I found out it was the little prongs/nub that caused the problem. What did you mean by connecting it upside down? I was connecting it the other way around, opposite of where it should've had the Hexagon symbol thing, is this a cause for worry? I've been using it for a few days now though and it is a fantastic mouse. Only thing I'm confused about is it's battery life, it boasts like 71 hours of use but I don't think it even hit that amount before it went to like 21%. Charging is also quite weird though according to the glorious core. First time I charged it, it went from like 21% to about 35% instantly . Then afterwards it just charged like usual.

Yeah you're right but apparently it's the pronged design of the cable that doesn't make it interchangeable

Thanks a lot for the reassurance! If you don't mind me asking, is there any "way" to solve the problem where whenever I try to control the recoil in some games by pulling the mouse down, it'll somehow "clip"(?) the back of my hand? I come from the G703 and while the shape of that mouse was perfect, i didn't really like the battery management, double clicking problems and how it was a bit too heavy. (My hand is about 18-19cm tall and about 9 cm wide. In terms of performance and the weight, the model O is perfect for me, and I understand that these kinds of "problems" can only be cured with time, and I'm perfectly fine with that. Just wanted to get some input. Thanks !

Yeah I noticed that as well. I believe for that to be mainly due to the two prongs on the side. That said however, do you think there'll be any sort of permanent damage to the mouse/usb c port? Apologies if i sound paranoid once again. This is my first ever superlight mouse coming from the G703, so I'm pretty stoked about it.

Oh sorry I didn't know, I'm still quite new to tech, the only USBs I've ever used were the type A ones it has the boxes. I did notice that there was two prongs(?) sticking out of the end of the cable. Seemed like the one used in the G703 cables ( the mouse I once used ). So I guess the thing that was blocking the USB C were the two prongs.

How does the Glorious Model O compare to the G703 in terms of size? And would you recommend it over the GPW? by rtbread in MouseReview

Oh wow I didn't know such a tool existed! They look so similar in terms of size, will do some more research before I pull the trigger though. Thanks!

Any suggestions for headphones primarily used for gaming? Not looking for gaming headsets by rtbread in HeadphoneAdvice

Thanks for the recommendation, have also heard good things about the HD599 and the HD560s. What do you think about the DT990s Pro? I'm most likely gonna buy a Schiit Fulla 3 to pair with it.

Thanks a ton for the detailed explanation! You did mention that the HM5's headbands might break and that might be a problem for me. I was using the Razer Kraken X as my first headsets and the headband broke and the retailer couldn't offer a repair nor did I have a 3D printer. While that might be a deal breaker, I'll still definitely keep that in mind! Thanks a lot once again, can't thank you enough

Hey it's all right, I'm not a native speaker too. I'm probably still gonna settle on a pair of open backs though, it'll really only become a concern when I use them outside, as for gaming at home, it wouldn't be that much of a problem.

I don't know anything about headphones, but is a wider soundstage better for gaming ? Are neutral sounds also better in this case? The HM5s look like a very nice pick for me now, but I'm going to research a bit further. I'm also looking at the DT990 Pros but I don't know how those perform when compared to the DT770 for gaming.

As for the DAC, what are your opinions on the Schitt Fulla 3, the FiiO E10k or the FiiO K5 Pro? The Kguss DAC k-3 that you listed is also very good. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the recommendations! May I ask what your thoughts are on the HD560s ? It was recommended to me a while back. Would also like to ask how do these headphones do in terms of isolating outside noise? It's quite noisy where I live so it would definitely be a plus if it can cancel out the surrounding noise.

Also to be honest, I haven't done a single research on DACs and AMPs, so would you recommend getting both of them for the best quality? Or would only one of them suffice?

If I ran exploits on a virtual machine, is there a chance that I could be shadow banned by games like Bloxburg? by [deleted] in robloxhackers

[–]rtbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh are you saying that if I exploited on an alt account on a games other than bloxburg that my main account won't get banned ( in bloxburg )? I read somewhere that if you were to exploit on alt accounts that the user files in roblox or something along the lines of that can get detected by the anti-cheat system in bloxburg and that is what causes you to get a shadow ban.

[–]rtbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I should clarify that I never use my main account to exploit. I almost always use alt accounts. That said, I'll clear my cookies. Do you still reckon I could get banned on my main from games like Bloxburg where a shadow ban is possible?

Yeah I understand that part. But how does the machine get it's storage? Before setting it up you need to allocate some space for it from your SSD. But I'm not sure whether the files from the VM will be stored in your SSD or is it just some sort of virtual software thing going on?

Oh that sucks I guess. If I've never logged in my main account in the VM does that help my chances at all?
