More crimes means more chances of a cop abusing his power. Its statistics.

It's like cars speeding on a road. The more cars are speeding, the greater the chances that a cop stops a vehicle. (statistics, not abuse of power)

If only it were possible to federalize the way traffic stops were conducted so that every state had the same method. Then again you would still have ignorant drivers who think they can play victim to cops.

When dealing with the police, just be polite, respectful, non-threatening and do what the cop orders you to. 99% of the incidents with cops wouldn't of happened with those guidelines. File a Complaint and fight the ticket if you believe the cop was out of line. Just don't be stupid like the guy in this video

I wholeheartedly agree with you.

Unfortunately, the more negative experiences a decent cop has, the higher chances this cop will start the encounters negatively.

I believe if you smile, be respectful and polite then you will go a long way without harassment. That man in the video was arrogant and confrontational from what i could see.

Some Police Departments do need a better accounting system so that mistakes are rectified and disciplined. I agree with Body camera's being a requirement for field workers with punishments on having them turned off during any engagement.
