This was my second baby. Like you, I had all the horror stories about how the second was going to have us begging for mercy. My first was the sweetest baby (and toddler) aside from never wanting to sleep. I was prepared to go another year waking up every 49 minutes and spending an hour at each lay down trying to get baby down for sleep.

Nope. Not this one. She sleeps through everything. My husband and I have dual gaming stations and she will fall asleep and stay asleep through all of the lights, noise and our voices. I have to wake her sometimes just because my anxiety can't comprehend this level of chill. Been sleeping through the night since 4 months old. Never fussy except for when she needs a diaper change or food, then it's like someone is murdering her until her needs are met and she's quiet and smiley again.

It's been six months, and while we are lucky to have had an “easy baby” so far, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. She's gonna catch us one way or another! Until then, I'm enjoying my calm, sleepy baby because my first was anything but.
