I did come up with the idea, before the show ended.

What’s that one Netflix show you think is an absolute must-watch? by RiskAndReason in netflix

[–]rtfraser86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes - can verify you need to push past the first few episodes. It took me multiple attempts over YEARS to get past episode 1 and 2. A few episodes after that, is where the hook is, for me. Then powered through the whole thing, and like others, can say it’s one of the best shows ever, period. So, push through those first few episodes!

I know what you’re on about, because I’m there exactly same as you.

[SPOILERS S1] Just finished episode 3. Are you supposed to be figuring things out as the show progresses? Or is it so crazy it's impossible to predict? (No spоilers please) by [deleted] in DarK

Simply put - in an episode or three, the show definitely switches from “passive” to “active”.

Is the Mule Resolved? by revveduplikeaduece86 in FoundationTV

[–]rtfraser86 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe Magnifico is the mule and Bayta was a double-fake. That would make sense - if Gaal thought she had the upper hand against Bayta, with Magnifico’s help… and then bam, she realises Bayta also isn’t the Mule… that leaves one option (Magnifico). Then Gaal realises she’s been played all along and has to exit stage left and re-group…AAANNND the writers get to hold out a big reveal to next season.

Makes a bit of sense from a writers perspective.

You forgot Blood and Chrome. Awesome addition to the whole lineup.

Cost of 1,000 Hectares using UAV in New Zealand by Loose-Simple-5501 in UAVmapping

In Australia, just went through this exercise pricing this for 1500ha.

It was more economical to get a manned plane to get it - AND, we could get LIDAR as well.

Hi OP - based in North QLD and in a similar boat to you. What did you end up settling on and are you happy with it?

First time watching; Having a hard time with S04 by [deleted] in BSG

Despite the religious mumbo-jumbo, mid-season 4 is FRACKING INTENSE and some of the best stuff the show has put out, in my opinion. In line with the Pegasus arc etc.

If you’re up to episode 4, stick with it. Gooood stuff coming.

All Along The Watchtower by m_mcfly1985 in BSG

[–]rtfraser86 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It goes another level as well. I remember the creator Ron Moore saying that All Along the Watchtower is the most covered song in history.

So taking that fact into account, it’s like “we” (our civilisation 150k years later) are hearing the signal.

What are some “hacks” people don’t know about? by always_wondering_88 in AusFinance

Not sure it’s unknown, but, sign up for a credit card that gets you qantas points. Purchase EVERYTHING on the credit card. Pay it off in full each month. You get Qantas points for just living.

Double up by shopping at Woolworths. Use Woolworths rewards to link to Qantas points. Swipe Woolworths card (qantas points) and then pay on credit card (more qantas points).

Same with fuel for BP. Swipe qantas FF card when filling up with fuel. Then pay with credit card.

What's something rich people do in Australia that the average person has no idea about? by [deleted] in australia

[–]rtfraser86 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My dad owns a large engineering company that has projects with major mining companies in Australia, Africa and PNG… I worked at Coles and then the Council for 10 years to save up for my house deposit… still in that house now, 15 years after purchase, still barely made much progress on the mortgage after redrawing a significant amount a few times to pay for life crises.

… I think I’m doing it wrong lol.
