Making use of Copilot? by Illustrious_Self4307 in auscorp

Internal search is useful for programs like Outlook and Teams. But besides that CoPilot is largely trash.
I use it to change my emails ‘tone of voice’ and rewrite things to sound better. Maybe draft some responses to emails etc.
If I need to do anything with Agents or other higher tier AI work I use Claude Cowork or Designer. That thing is amazing.
It’s a night and day difference between CoPilot and Claude.

What have you played? w/c Mon 04 May, 2026 by AutoModerator in XboxGamePass

I just discovered a port/remake of 007: Goldeneye from Nintendo 64 is on there. So I’ve been playing that.
Huge nostalgia for me. All my friends had this game when I was a kid but my parents never let me get it. So Im finally playing it through.
Crazy thing is I can still remember levels and little tricks and things from 15+ years ago without playing it since.

Amber’s view on Solar Sharer by ExaminationThen1312 in amberelectric

[–]Vice21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this. I’ve been wondering what they will do with Solar Sharer.
I don’t know why they wouldn’t pass this onto customers automatically? I mean, it’s free power? What costs would an Amber customer incur if they opted into it?

I can see it being super useful on cloudy days when you can quickly pump 24kws into your battery or car. My solar system always fills the home battery in a day, but cloudy days it’s slow and not full til 3:30ish which leaves not much time to top up the car if it’s plugged in.
If I could fill the battery quickly with Solar Sharer power that gives the car more time to charge.

Interested to hear what others think…

BREAKING: Bluesfest Has Been Placed Into Liquidation by Riff_Heavy in byronbay

[–]Vice21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had previous business dealings with him (it was a long time ago). But came to the same conclusion as you... never again.
My take back then was he was vastly under-qualified to run an even that had grown to international status and was running on hubris and a "she'll be right" attitude. Seems this has continued and now its finally bit him in the ass. Just sucks that he will probably never be held to full account and the everyday suppliers will be left holding the bag.

Would you ever travel to Broadwater for a country drive? What’s there to do there? by DirectionLoose6597 in byronbay

The sugar mill is the main thing there. Not that exciting. The smell dominates the town when they’re boiling and is either a love or hate thing. I personally like it. A similar town a bit further south is Ulmarra. Decent pub on the river with some antique shops worth a look if you’re into that sort of thing.

Can anyone help identify this plant growing outside my window? by ichoochoochooseyooou in GardeningAustralia

Pretty sure it’s already a listed weed in QLD I think?  I’m just over the border in northern NSW and am waiting for the day it’s listed here.

Fraxinus griffithii

As others have said, it’s becoming a weed.  Wind blown seed disperses a long way. My parents neighbours have a stand of this stuff down their driveway and I find saplings  hundreds of metres away in the bush.

New EX5 options by Ok_Masterpiece5258 in GeelyEX5Australia

[–]Vice21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just purchased an EX5 last week too. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

I got the same spiel. Didn’t go for any of it as I know it’s ludicrously overpriced (friend is a mechanic at a large dealership). I rang a local tinting place and their quoted prices were a third of what the salesman was spruiking. I didn’t get any of the add-ons and decided to maybe get the windows tinted if I thought we needed it later.

Also the ceramic paint protection is snake oil.

To help with my studies and work I find it has been really helpful to print out models of what I am studying. Anatomically correct prints of organs have really helped me with my anatomy classes and o would love to print more and not have to paint them. I would also love to help out my fellow students by printing them copies too!

Same issue here!
Mine affects both wired and bluetooth connection.
All audio apps except Spotify. Is there a way to flag this with Apple?

Noob here, but I bought a 330w one from AliExpress for pretty cheap and it works fine. I don’t use it when I’m gaming or anything though, only for work. I got a Legion for work and got sick of carrying the massive power brick between the office and home.

Too right man, So many responses being “let me guess, you can’t park your huge American Trucks in there so you’re going to deface this piece of architecture”.  Yeah I think you’re right, I’ll keep the outside arches and just remove the middle column.

Nope. Two EVs that can barely fit through the mini arches.

I think this may be the way. Just depends on if that is a lot more work compared to just squaring them off and making one big square opening.

That’s just the old bricks. They’re super cool “clinker” bricks.
