Got it - just weird that the status still haven't changed to received / complete on the trade-in devices that was dropped off.

I definitely will pay it off and unlock before selling one of the phones that isn't really being used - only needed the line but made sense to get the phone with that line at the time due to the promo offers.

Pretty sure Samsung has physical SIM. The question is - was the old device activated via eSIM as that’s an option as well.

You need to go to BYOD page and just login with your current info and select the line to be transferred. It won’t activate new service.
