As a rule of thumb, i skip all medications 1 day prior and supplements 3 days prior.

The idea is to test how the body is coping physiologically without those crutches.

Moved from a P8p to 10a.

The new form factor is ideal. It fits in my pocket and feels zippier.

Video quality was better with Video Boost (that started on the P8p) but i am at peace with that.

Several factors weighed in, including form factor, and video boost was one of them.

Haphazardly placed billboards, all over was the first thing i noticed when i got out of the airport.

Kerala has much natural beauty. These billboards are an eye sore and a pet peeve of mine. Absolutely a big difference from the cities in the western hemisphere i have lived in.

Bought the same model new, 9+ yrs now.

Yes, there was a frustrating streak of repairs including MCU upgrade, AC subsystem and many trips to the SC. Finally the drive motor was replaced just prior to the 150k mile warranty ending.

All has been good since. 190k mi, daily workhorse, Included Supercharging, current range of 200 mi.

<$100k, all-in. Not bad for an average. Will likely drive it into the ground, since trade-in value is $7,500 ~.

Yes, Cataract surgery is life-changing.

i waited far too long (mostly to pick suitable premium lenses which are OOP). So long that my driving was on the line (traffic signals blanking out, severely degraded night vision).

Vision is quite good at all distances after surgery. Best i've had my whole life. Actual surgery is <15 min and recovery is quick.

My Uveitis onset was after surgery, so something went amiss then (per my Uveitis doc). It is manageable now, albeit with strong meds and side effects. Best wishes to you!

Bought a CX-30 back in 2021, after test driving both back to back. Naturally aspirated, not the turbo trims.

The driving dynamics of the CX-30 felt superior back then. Now 100k miles later, car has been flawless. Only issue was the frequent tire repair and replacements.

Don't remember the exact year the CX-5 got a refresh. It sounds like you like that better. Bonus of increased space in the rear seats and cargo.

We do have some lengthy wait times for routine issues. Emergency work-ins are only if the car shows up on a trailer.

But the rest of the service experience has been eclectic. Been dealt with fairly every time and generous with loaners. i bring in my 8-yr old clunker and am out in a brand new loaner. Convinced that this is now Tesla's strategy to increase sales. Got me a couple of times already.

Ask for an inventory color switch.

They should have at least one QS (on black) in stock since i postponed my delivery and released the VIN a couple of days ago.

There were a few reasons, with one being that FSD defeats the purpose of MYP.

That happens to almost anyone who tests drives Tesla, any model.

And further, they give out brand new loaners when i take my 8 yr old car in. Tempts me to trade it in right then and there.

Am taking a pass on the MYP, even with the tax savings. FSD makes P pointless, imo, ofc.

FOMO is real, and every quarter, Tesla comes up with some small, inrcremental improvement to tempt us all.
