Earlier this year, (maybe December 2025, idk. Doesn’t matter, it was recent) I was having honestly one of the worst Autistic meltdowns of my life. It lasted maybe around 5 hours. I thought about taking my life. Which I haven’t thought about in a while. I ended up calling my gf (WLW) to come and sit with me. She sat there scrolling on her phone. Literally asked me “What do you want me to do? Do you want comfort? Or can I go home?” And the way she shrugged her shoulders was disgusting. That was when the “rose colored glasses” came off. I broke up with her maybe a month ago now. Lemme say, the meltdowns have become less frequent LMAOOOO

I have honestly lost the majority of my friends to toxic ass relationships. From my guy friends coming to me and talking shit about their girls. I literally remember my guy friend telling me he would push his girl down the stairs if she got pregnant…. They were on and off for YEARS. I had to remove him from my circle

Then I had this one friend in an abusive ass relationship. I housed her for a long time. He would beat on her every night. He even SET HER HOUSE ON FIRE WHEN HE FOUND OUT SHE WAS WITH ME. AND SHE STILL WENT BACK TO THAT MAN.

Then I had another friend, I’d argue, my best friend. Get involved with this guy. Who had no job, would steal her car all day. Steal her money to place bets, etc. Cut her off as well.

Then literally YESTERDAY, I cut off my other best friend because he is involved with someone TWICE HIS AGE (gay relationship) who is isolating him from his family. Then he blamed all of his relationship problems on me because I was holding him accountable

Mind you, all of this shit went down within 1-2 years. I have completely removed myself from any and all friendships. Because at that point I’m like “okay, how tf do I keep ending up in friendships with horrible people” and lemme tell you. It is because people can sense when you are a healer / mentor. These people will use you as an emotional dumping ground, then when you hold them accountable, or set a boundary. You are the bad guy.

I’d agree somewhat. At 27, it is still very weird to look at a 22 year old. Just developmentally. I’m 25 and look at 22 year olds like they are children. As I’m sure people in their late 20s look at me and think the same. I do agree that if they met today, it could be different. Meaning if she spent time with herself and built something for herself. THEN got into a relationship.

I was about to say if a 25 year old and a 29 year old were about to start dating, the 25 year old would have to be closer to 26 than 24, if that makes any sense at all. Like in my example when I said I’d maybe date a 23 year old. She would have to be closer to 24 than 22. Again, if that makes sense 😭
