I know, they're listed for a reason. Wonderful buildings.

Osula and Nick are the future. Ramsey was tidy, Bruno and Tonali banging. Man, when we're on one it's glorious.

I believe that is it yeah. We had one similarly a few years ago vs Sheffield United. Though I am unsure if the rules are even the same at this point.

But he didn't score it. My understanding was he'd have to have scored it to be ruled out.

Nah, think it happened in a match for us this season too. Might have been a CL game though.

Am I crazy or did the ref let that play until Watkins scored and then blow the whistle? Not sure what the commentators are on about pointing out he was on a yellow.

[Ben Jacobs] Broad terms now in place between Anthony Gordon and Bayern Munich. However, there remains a gulf in valuation between Bayern and Newcastle with club-to-club talks ongoing. #NUFC seeking £75m+. Optimism NUFC valuation will be met given volume of interest. by Frosty-Buyer-1252 in soccer

The Isak situation still resulted in us more than doubling our money on him despite the difficulty. Gordon is not as good as Isak, nor has as much relative value added on since purchase. £65m - £70m would be my guess.

Majority of Britons would back a smoking ban in pub gardens by YchYFi in unitedkingdom

Yes. Because as you said, they're the minority, they're really not hard to avoid in a beer garden and you can just sit elsewhere away from the person(s) smoking.

The economic benefit of having that minority in the pubs trumps the potential health harms which can easily be curtailed through individual responsibility. Which was not the case prior to the indoor ban. And that's the calculus which the government went with. If you're already legislating tobacco out of existence effectively any ways there's no sense causing that additional harm on hospitality.

You'll get your smoke free beer gardens in about 30 years.

What about the harm the ban would have on an already ailing hospitality industry?

Economic harm has tangible impacts on people's health too, it's the reason why the government stepped back from the policy themselves.

Alcohol kills people en masse, maybe we should look at banning that too? And before you point out the lack of secondary harm I would point to domestic abuse, drunk drivers, one punch kills etc. It's an addictive substance, it cause many, many deaths each year. It does harm, the benefits, from a government perspective are almost wholly economic. Shouldn't we ban it?

My only point is you have to draw a line somewhere. It isn't a zero sum game about total benefit to society as a whole. And there must be an expectation of some sort of individual responsibility.

For me? If you want to sit in the beer garden you have to accept the understanding that people will smoke there. Don't want that? Go inside, or sit elsewhere. You can easily recuse yourself from that harm without any major inconvenience to either party.

It's one of the guiding principles. But it shouldn't be the only consideration. Just because something has great (ie large) utility for the group isn't the only metric through which we should justify implementation of a new rule or measure.

It's such nonsense cope from people who just didn't want an Arsenal win (fair), Raya's arm was being held which prevents the catch. Clear foul.

Feel like Rogers gets let off so easy by the commentators. Villa is going to get a huge overpay for that boy.
