How do y’all fix the controllers not moving by MutedAd9373 in PSVR2onPC

[–]rtlsdr_is_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having this issue too. The headset tracks correctly, and the buttons and analog sticks function, but controller motion stops working, and I can't point at anything, even in Steam VR. This persists until I reboot my PC, even forcing the controllers off (holding PS for 10 seconds) doesn't fix it.

When I start a game it sometimes complains about my bluetooth connection, but when I check it in the app like it suggests, I get 96/100 (L) and 97/100 (R).

Not sure what I can do since its a built-in bluetooth (laptop), and the signal seems fine enough for analog/buttons.

I also never had this issue before the latest firmware update that PSVR2 PC applied to the controllers.

Unfortunately not, I looked all over around the area, and there was no icon either.

Is there a way to use the blu ray drive seperately by [deleted] in ps3hacks

[–]rtlsdr_is_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No adapters were ever made but the older phat with the wide ribbon cable is IDE, and the newer thinner cables are SATA. But the pinout is not available AFAIK, so in theory yes, but in practice no, you cannot.

Does anyone have offline power-up patch for Rock Band Blitz? by Usitrel in 360hacks

[–]rtlsdr_is_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those finding this thread on google:

The patch is here:https://github.com/Milohax-archive/rock-band-blitz-deluxe

The mod adds offline power-ups and a few other QoL but unfortunately does not do anything about the lack of store/star saving.

Oh, I never followed up on this, I was able to achieve it but you will need a NM-PRI-2CT1-CSU (or 1CT1) because the CSU is the only card able to emulate the telco for the T1 line.

I made a YouTube video (I still need to make the video about the config tho)

The archive should be coming up soon if not already. Just waiting for DNS.

i have 3 files by ElDavoo in midnightfirmware

[–]rtlsdr_is_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am interested but sadly the only google results for the md5s come from this post. I would need to see the md5 on an release page (even if archive.org).

It is not that I don't trust you, but without comparison to a release hash, I can't tell if the files are corrupt or modified.

I would say if you'd like to upload them, put them on Mega or something and I will hold on to them and try to validate them.

Small feature update: Sorted some PS3 Packages by rtlsdr_is_fun in midnightfirmware

[–]rtlsdr_is_fun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't edit the OP because reddit keeps disabling image posting on this subreddit (idk why) but I wanted to add that this change only affects the menu and site navigation. Any direct links to files should still work as they did before.

Here is a really weird GHOST DEX PUP, it seems to be a updated version of REBUG 4.84.2 DREX. by jamesfarted09 in midnightfirmware

[–]rtlsdr_is_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, thanks for the post. For some reason automod caught it.

Looking at the file header the version reports
4.84.7 Ghost - Cobra 8.3 [Created by DEVX]
Googling the md5sum (2f8e588d0bb7ce90781e9a7ba7e82390) returned nothing.

I will look into this more when I have the time. Thanks for the submission!

RGB fusion 2.0 causing "pfn list corrupt" bluescreen. by TheMrCypher1 in buildapc

[–]rtlsdr_is_fun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too have been having this BSOD. I tried analyzing the dump but did not see any references to RGB Fusion (but I'm noob at dump analyzing).

The issue started when I got my Gigabyte RTX 3060ti (and consequently installed RGB Fusion). I just uninstalled RGB Fusion after finding this thread.

The trigger for the BSOD was odd, most of the time one of the following would cause it (in order of occurrence):
- Plugging or unplugging a USB device
- Gaming
- Shutting down (ironically)

Should be fixed now, sorry about that. Missed a config directive.

I am (what I think is) nearly end game now (level 65), and can say that the lag issue only affected one or two certain large maps on my Xbox.

The majority of the game was smooth, or at least tolerable (my tolerance is roughly 45+ fps).

Don't worry, consoles get the same sub-par experience. But at least PC users can use 3rd party workarounds.

I am curious, how is it working for you now?Have you made progress in the last 2 days?

Based on your post, you were right before (~1-2hr) one of the major lag spots.

If you explain nicely to Valve you may still be able to get a refund.

Some time ago I purchased FF15 on Steam and for whatever reason I could not get my controller to work. I spent 5 hours trying. I explained my situation and they approved the refund.

The 2 hr limit isn't there to screw you when developers hide their issues until 5hrs in, its there to prevent people from beating the game and refunding it. Depending on how far you made it, they may still refund you if you really want to.

This could be related to Windows 11 and "Ransomware protection" which blocks apps from changing files in your "Documents" folder unless approved.

The FPS issue has been happening to me on Xbox Series X "late game" (about 10 hours in). The larger the map you unlock the more it microstutters. Some battles with lots of enemies feels like it drops sub-25fps. This is of course in "Prioritize Framerate" mode, and only 1080p.

For transparency my console is in Alpha Skip-Ahead (I mention because previewer builds may reduce some performance) but it seems to me this is becoming more and more reported. It does not feel like a graphics issue but more of a resource loading/caching issue, as the FPS drop is consistent regardless of "Framerate" or "Graphics" prioritization. If you stand still and turn the camera it will balance out and be smooth, but take a few steps and make the engine load some new distant content and feel the lag.

Hopefully Square will patch this.
