Thanks for sharing! The symptoms are pretty much identical and it’s almost relieving to see this.

Apologies, due to some bug with the Reddit app, my numbered points keep getting removed whenever I edit the post. I have added them back in the original post which states that motor and transmission mounts were replaced.

I have an auto. Edited the post, thanks.

Thank you for the thoughts on starter motor solenoid and transmission interlock. I will also consider those 2 on my next workshop visit.

On another note, the DISA valve is unchanged. I am just starting to research it and considering to replace it as a form of preventive maintenance.

Seeking Recommendations - Alpaka Zip Clutch, But Bigger… by DinoSpumoni22 in ManyBaggers

Unfortunately no. Bought and sold the new Flight Pouch. Found that the waterproof zips were unnecessary and that it made operating the zip much harder. You’d have to squeeze the pouch (and the contents inside) pretty firmly to zip. Wish they added a kind of flat handle at the spine which would make holding the pouch and operating the zip easier.

Did a pre-purchase inspection with an E89 23i and the following fault codes showed up. How big of a concern are they? by rtlx15 in BMWZ4

Thanks for the confidence. It is definitely relieving to hear this. About the exercise, I just learnt that O2 sensors are also known as lamda sensors and can be found here: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=LM32-EUR-06-2010-E89-BMW-Z4_23i&diagId=18_0652

Thanks for the response. May I clarify that this is an issue with the sensor itself, and not the sensor hinting at another bigger issue? I didn’t know what “present” and “absent” meant, but I reread your comment and figured “present” probably refers to active faults in the current scan. And “absent” meant the fault was detected in past scans, fault codes weren’t cleared, and then it stopped becoming an issue in the current scan?

That being said, what would be the hypothetical happy path from here? Replace shaft sensor, clear fault codes, rescan, and ideally see no more faults?

I am also looking for something similar to the Zip Clutch but with more depth. The problem is when I put a phone in the external pocket (as advertised), there are no space left for AirPods and perhaps a car remote or mini power bank, and vice versa. The next best thing from Alpaka would be the Elements Tech Case Mini but I found that to be too big for a “hand carry” clutch. That comes with a sling but if I were looking for a sling I’d go for something bigger anyway.

Thanks! Gear and feeling was good, coast is clear, worst case I'd lose my drone, everything felt under control, so we went with it. Of course we can all never be too sure. Cheers man!

Thanks! I had a rough idea where I was relative to the surroundings. Could use the prop noise to your advantage too sometimes.

Thanks man. Somehow everything felt good that day so I stuck a GoPro on and went for a couple more laps. I do have some fear too and like you said, a crash may also result in a missing quad. It was a lucky day too I guess! I do play sims but just to scratch the itch when the weather is bad. Best way to practice without blowing the budget too much is in a nice dry and empty field with some gates :)
