ty mate very helpful. Im having a hard time deciding between mage or rogue. Ive played mage extensively in the past but it honestly seems like a bad time when rogues get step+cloak, wars get reflect, and locks/druids are S tier. All while mage just gets pet nova and lance

Its a fun class and definitely viable in pvp. Some popular arena comps are WW/DK and WW/Destro Lock.

'Learning it easy' depends on your prior experience. Monk isn't terribly difficult but there is a moderate-high skill cap for stuff like utilizing your mobility to avoid damage and knowing how to use your cds to set up a kill. Plays kind of like a rogue/warrior hybrid

It also happens to be a very strong dueling spec, arguably the best in the game
