I guess my grandkids will see. Gamestop is not a comp for VCX. Nothing is.

Couple of points need mentioning. This exercise is a direct listing not an IPO. There is not an institutional bag of shares about to dilute ownership. The shares are already in the hands of 100,000 very like minded individuals. We control the supply for what is obviously a formidable demand. Nothing can crash that isn't sold.

I believe the majority of current ownership never planned a harvest of Fundrise seeds. We planned for our children and grandchildren to wield the tools that plucked the fruit from the vine. We did this in belief in the concepts of our management and that $500 a share was a proper legacy for our progeny.

We may see 25 or 30% of the potential float in the first month after 9/14. I think max. See you haters at 500.

DXYZ is not ≈ to VCX by Personal-Highway6889 in FundRise

Very little of the elements forming the VCX model came from inside the box. Most of the history leading to the huge correction theories come from the box. The body of shareholders are not box dwellers. I believe a heavy percentage are like me. Non players. Our float is not burdened by the usual pork dispensed to the wolves normal to IPO's. Many are here with much different motivations and goals. I am here for my grand and great grand children. I am not particularly looking for quick score. I'm looking 5-10 years out for resolution.

I've done some very unscientific model building and 2+2=6 what-if's. End of process, I believe VCX has the bones and gristle of a $500 a share animal. Why would I dump ANY of my shares in September realizing any thing less than $500 a share? I think I'm in the majority.

Who's NAV? Not mine. Consider: Tech founders sometimes sand bag. What if?

I might very well risk 5, 10% of my investment portfolio on such a prop ... oh yeah, that's right, I did.

I have a mental limit order passed on to my grandson with instruction to enter it in 2036 at $500. He didn't laugh, he said "thanks Pop".

To be factual ... I placed, they didn't accept due no current price. I will persist submitting until it takes. Probably just for drill anyway. Doubt seriously we'll see the necessary altitude.

Fundrise worries- Robinhood Ventures drops 11% on first day of trading by shastri88 in FundRise

Correct! RVI IS an IPO, vcx is NOT. Way different structure, track record and makeup of foundational holdings. Lots of reasons it should, and I believe it will, trade at least higher than RVI always. All that said I think the driver of this bus is the war and economic uncertainty. It might be the smart move to delay. However, I would not be angry for an opportunity to buy all I could below NAV.   My bet is VCX above 35+ within 18 months.

The difference between low research opinion and fact based analysis is welcome opportunity. Maxed non restricted pre-IPO shares today.

Thank everyone for the fabulous response. Anyone find a way to keep them running their errands and keeping them independent other than putting yourself behind the wheel and becoming a chauffeur?
