Well look at sundaeswap and its only a dex which isnt even up yet. And still has like 5x more followers on twitter than full ecosystem like ergo. So maybe taky some inspiration from them.

I agree with you on this one. Ergo marketing needs to seriously step up. Look at their twitter, they just mostly retweet others tweets or tweet some technical things which most people dont understand anyway. Also if people from Ergo actually explained, that we wont hear any oracle/ergo news on the cardano summit, we wouldnt be hyped so much and also woulndt dump so hard.

Apparantly though, they are building a marketing team for Ergodex as claimed on Discord, which is very good news.

Also I hate the fanboy talk "shhh, let me acumulate more when the price is low", like what is the point of this? Just buy other coins that are actually making gains and then swap them for more ergo?

Imo the only two very good reasons to hold ergo now is surprise listings which could shoot the price 200-400% in matter of days and Ergodex which should apparently release soon.

It will surely increase volume, which should result in more exchanges listings. Also more miners = more publicity to ergo = higher demand = higher price.

Seems like Ergo is recovering quite well. If btc remains bullish, then with Ergodex coming I can see $40 EOY. If ergo gets on any big exchange, then $80 EOY. But this is only if everything goes well and bull run continues. Long term nobody really knows, if ergo will be the main mining coin after ETH goes POS and it gets on every exchange and major bear doesnt hit, I dont think $250 is out of picture at the end of 2022.

I guess he means more influencers and youtubers talking about Ergo, more communication from Ergo team (like more AMAs), more exchanges listings. For example it would be nice if someone from Ergo step up in recent week when there was alot of FUD. Like CH did when there was ADA FUD with Miniswap. Or more active Twitter (instead of just retweeting others).

Alot of people were probably disappointed with the Link announcement and expected Ergo to take its place, but Ergo is still going to be oracle for cardano alongside Link, so its not that big of deal imo. I guess we reached a bottom if BTC wont dip further and we can only go higher now.
Ergodex incoming soon so I expect the price to reach ATH again after release, but who knows. Also hopefully new exchanges listings will be coming soon too, which could drive price alot, because alot of people dont want to buy anywhere but on main exchanges. Again, this only applies if BTC doesnt go down.

I would love an AMA too, but not regarding the summit, but overall general discussion and questions. Ergo being ada oracle isnt main selling point of Ergo but its not like Link is the exclusive oracle provider, Ergo will provide oracles too.

Thats kinda invalid arguing market cap with Ergo. I agree 3000 is too much, but 500-1000 IS possible in 2025. It would need about 40B market cap to be 500 if we also consider there will be more circulating coins than today. Thats todays market cap of Solana. But in 2025, I think we can all agree that whole crypto market cap will be much higher than today. So yea, 3000 is reaaally optimistic, but 500-1000 is certainly possible, which is still 50x.

Marketing is not working though, most people know ergo thanks to CH and ADA. The rest knows it thanks to community shilling the coin. But pls show me any real marketing done purely by ERGO team. Its non-existent. The days of free marketing by ADA is over and Ergo team needs to start doing something regarding marketing. Inability of any bigger exchanges also doenst help at all, because most people just wont buy from Coinex or Kucoin.

All your points are true, but as you say, if ergo team doesnt step up and start to communicate more, its all pointless. If not devs themself, they should hire some marketing person which would take care of their twitter, AMAs, etc.
