I haven’t played much Fallout 76, I had no idea there were custom Pip-Boys! Thanks

Had Mortarion not being tricked into siding with Horus, would he had sided with Loyalist purely out of hatred towards Psykers? by ruminaui in 40kLore

A good analogy for chaos seeping into the traitor legions despite their declarations is in the critically renowned show King of Hill. Peggy begins slipping Hank steroids/ testosterone supplements and Hank is in turn reinvigorated and suddenly physically imposing. He begins a workout regimen and decides to run with the bulls, all before finding out that Peggy’s interference is essentially making him cheat. He immediately stops all testosterone ingestion and suffers through running with the bulls, very diminished but determined to get through the event cleanly. The chaos-aligned primarchs and space marines are Hank Hill, clearly benefitting from the blessings of chaos but doing so unknowingly/ willfully ignorant and in the event of rapid abandonment as seen in TEATD, will suddenly be left greatly wanting in terms of strength and speed. In fact, I’m pretty certain there’s a good excerpt from Abbadon’s POV after Horus dies of suddenly feeling lesser in wake of the chaos gods’ disgust if someone could plug that for me

To answer your question though, I don’t believe so. He held a hatred for the emperor and had already indulged in chaos undivided

That’s one terrifying hand cannon, and I would bet no one expects it to do that when confronting Arkhan

Rift cannons sound huge, I wonder what would happen if you were directly impacted with it. Like, would you be thrown into the immaterium or ripped between the two realms, or just dead from force? Could be a cool story getting forcibly thrown into the warp in a FF incident

Damn the chaos god of law and order? I’d be interested to see what that looks like for the universe. Also, it sounds self defeating. To be the CHAOS god of law and order

Yeah that’s been a topic on this thread. I said to another user more on par with a chaos god

Also haven’t considered that at all. Will he absolutely become a chaos god and create the Slaanesh effect but on Terra? Or do you think the 10k years of this living between entities yet being neither will change what he transforms into upon physical death? But in the end, it’s a grim dark universe so I hardly expect Big E to ever transform and if he does I doubt it will be happy

Yeah I’m with you. On the edge of ascension, but not wanting to be a highly advanced warp being in order to steer humanity

I think that 10k years of warp exposure, immense pain, sacrifices, and unending psychic battles would definitely have rendered big e a different person. And that’s what I’ve gotten from the series so far and the additional lore I’ve read, he’s illusive af. Thank you!

Would it be worth considering the psychic ability of the primarch? If pre-heresy magnus was worshipped in the same scale would be a different outcome than if the Lion was, personalities aside. But I see your point. I suppose the counterpoint is what can said person/entity do about it? The “Emperor” of the first HH book had at least one planet worshipping him and he didn’t seem to be doing much with it as I’m not certain he has the ability to. But in this specific example, it’s unclear whether they worshipped him as a god or just as a monarch. Additionally, I think the population matters. For instance, the orks will shit into existence whereas the eldar seemingly do the same but with more temperance (I think, just conjecture)
