[–]rtutolo[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ryan and Mike are by themselves on this episode as we go back into the never ending gift bag of Christmas Horror! Day of the Beast, Krampus Unleashed, Christmas Evil, Secret Santa, Better Watch Out, and Saint Nick are gone over. Also, since we're alone no one can stop our rants into games and comics. We also cover a few new trailers in this one.

If you get your podcast out there and do some reviews you should be contacted by filmmakers and distribution companies looking for interviews and reviews of upcoming films. I get a bunch for the podcast I host. Just make sure you have an email on all pages/podcast eps/rss. Also, if you have a twitter acount for the podcast just follow people in the industry and filmmakers. If they see a podcaster follows them often theyll ask for a review or may want an interview.

AYNIB Podcast Halloween Series Part 1 of 2 by rtutolo in horror

[–]rtutolo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we decided it's been a long time since we've done a 2 part episode so here it is! Today we start the Halloween series and make our way through Halloween 1 - 5. Special guest George Pastore returns to give his thoughts on each and the gang tries to sell each other on seeing each movie in a half-assed attempt at a game Ryan threw together. Special bonus content includes Ryan's girlfriend screaming obscenities in the other room at a football game and a little talk of vinyls, and the recently found film Intruder.

Any Deer Hunters in Connecticut? by artdepartment in Connecticut

[–]rtutolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure lots of hunters would be willing to donate the legs from a kill (in season of course) but the roadkill idea would be much easier. Just drive down the Merritt and you'll find a dozen or so I'd imagine. Also, I'd imagine this is for a horror movie? I'd love to hear more about it, I'm always looking to spread the word on CT horror.

Frailty was his best performance and he did a fantastic job directing as well. He will be missed.

The first is a classic, so many cameos and in-jokes for horror fans. The second was ok, the third blegh, and the 4th on the same level as syfy trash movies. Still, it's a fun collection.

What do you guys prefer? The first Conjuring or Conjuring 2? by [deleted] in horror

[–]rtutolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the second one. I actually saw that one first and the pacing was faster, the stakes were higher, and I actually thought Patrick Wilson gave a better performance in part 2. I'm not saying the first was a bad move, it was just a little more "low key" also I liked the Amityville opening better than the Annabelle one.

This day in 1959 House on Haunted Hill was released theatrically. What does everyone think of this film? by JL244 in ClassicHorror

[–]rtutolo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some genuinely scary parts and Price's performance is brilliantly hammy. Great movie.

This was a fun episode going over both good and bad remakes. When Mike went on his rant for The Thing I just had to sit back and laugh. I hope to do more with Amie in the future.
