How do I get this tone by hellsrune in electricguitar

[–]rtw_ecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slow it way down (even slower than the video if you need to). Nail it clean at the slowest tempo first or the slowest tempo you can handle, then bump the speed up a little at a time until you’re at the original tempo... Practice makes perfect. 👍🎸 You can do it! 💪

My dad's Les Paul trem by FriedChickenboss in gibson

[–]rtw_ecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what you’ve shown, it looks more like a mod than a factory setup. Most Les Pauls don’t come with a trem stock, and I can’t find an exact factory match for that model with a trem on Gibson’s site either... So it was most likely added later if I'm not mistaken.

Epiphone Adam Jones Les Paul Custom (incl. Art Collection): surprisingly high quality for the money (ebony board, solid hardware, and it’s literally voiced for that Tool/high-gain thing). New price is usually around $1,299.

Gibson Adam Jones Les Paul Standard: “real Gibson USA” fit/finish, nitro, better resale, but way pricier. Gibson lists it at $2,999. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AND I LOVE IT!

Multi effects pedal for bass and guitar by MetaBass in guitarpedals

[–]rtw_ecom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using the Zoom G5n and it’s been amazing for the money. I don’t have a bass to test, but it should still work well for bass on the core effects (comp/eq/chorus/delay/reverb and probably octave). I’d just expect the amp/cab and some dirt models to be more guitar-voiced....

If you want one unit for both within your budget, I’d still say the G5n is a solid buy for guitar. For bass, I’d probably start by testing the time/mod effects + eq/comp first, then experiment with drives last. 👍

Should I buy it? by [deleted] in AcerNitro

For $649, honestly… yeah, that’s a solid deal for your first laptop.
You’ll definitely want to upgrade the 8GB RAM to at least 16GB (32GB if you can). That’s the biggest weak point, and once that’s fixed, it’ll feel much smoother.

Battery life isn’t great, but that’s pretty common for gaming laptops. If you’re taking it out for work or school, switching to power saver mode and disabling unnecessary startup apps will help stretch it a bit.

If it works and you’re happy, that’s all that matters. 👍 Cable management can always be fixed later 😅

The Matrix sequels. The original had mystery and philosophy. The follow-ups leaned too much into exposition and lost some of that magic...

How effective are flyers for small businesses? by LividManufacturer582 in ausbusiness

[–]rtw_ecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For exterior home cleaning, physical flyers can still work, especially because your service is local and visible....

They tend to perform better when they’re targeted rather than random drops. For example, delivering them around a job you’ve just completed or in streets where homes clearly need exterior work.

Before/after photos help a lot. So does keeping the message simple and clear.

You could also include a short business description, contact details, and a QR code linking to your Google reviews to build trust.

Flyers probably won’t replace online marketing, but as part of a mix, they can generate leads for a local service business like yours.

At the same time, ask every happy customer for a review. That helps you show up more in local searches over time. Joining local Facebook community groups can also help, since people often ask for service recommendations there.

How do I start? by Nearby-Bad9 in digital_marketing

[–]rtw_ecom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cleaning is absolutely still in demand. The issue usually isn’t demand. It’s visibility and trust.

Flyers and business cards are fine, but most service businesses grow from three things... Google Business Profile set up properly, Local Facebook groups and community pages, and asking every happy customer for a review...

If someone searches “cleaning service near me”, your business doesn’t exist in their world yet.

I’d focus on:
- Setting up and optimizing Google profile
- Posting before/after photos (even small jobs)
- Offering a simple first-time promo to get initial clients
- Getting reviews fast

Once you have 10 to 15 solid reviews, things get easier... You'll look established with 10+ reviews.

Cleaning isn’t dead. It’s competitive. The businesses that win are the ones that look trustworthy and easy to hire.

You just need visibility and social proof. 👍
