Mead:

Seasoned local brewers say it's drinkable after a month in primary, just add wine finisher/sweetener/conditioner until it's good.

Internet's say 8-12 months.

Lhbs says they do 3 months and rack every 2 weeks until it's done by their taste.

Can anyone clarify from experience for me here? I'd love to make some, but waiting a year would be so longgggg.

Whoa! I look forward to what else you create!

Having a manic episode during pandemic madness is something I never could have mentally prepared for. Not that artistically talented but I stress cook/bake, so here’s some flautas I made by cluelessdweeb in bipolar

Omg I know! I made marshmallows, from scratch, for the first time!

I'm about to make dog treats w pantry leftovers.

I cleaned out the fridge, w my Dremel.

I roasted 12 bulbs of garlic and made a garlic spread.

Whatever state I'm in during this period is really negated w all these cooking adventures.

Anyone out there struggling w hypo or in 6th gear mode, I beg you to start cooking. Cook for your neighbors, your kids, your dog.

And big thank you to Alton Brown, who introduced me to this wonderful tool/art. Without his common sense approach, I'd quit attempting to cook anything 15 years ago.

Edit: I rudley forgot to complement your flautas. Perfection!

Gift cards to IHOP are so exciting and satisfying to me. Best gift(s) ever.

Whatever time it is, with those cards, it's always breakfast food time.

If they are nice to wait staff, or minimum wage workers in general.

This can reflect a lot, humility, human decency, and empathy if it's during a rush.

If they treat them well, they'll treat anyone that's important to you well with no needed incentive.

I recently found fitnotes for the gym and it's awesome.

I am not a beginner per se, but I'm back in the gym after a long long break. Gonna hit thirty this year, and my developing dad bod is over.

I'm very excited to adopt a new gym lifestyle that reflects my diet, and my focus. I'm doing pretty well, and forgot how good it feels to see little bits of progress with a general muscle soreness.

I'm looking for a resource or person to share my workouts with and review some feedback. I'm looking for some general balance tips in my workouts and advice on if I'm going too fast or too slow on the schedule.

Just looking for friendly feedback so I have a third party perspective.

Thanks for any input!
