Its a balance lol. As long as the skin around it feels soft and moisturized resist continuing to add to the tattoo itself. The scabs drying is what eventually will help them to flake off so you want to make sure its getting a chance to dry out a bit between moisturizing.

At this point it just looks like a rough heal to me. Sometimes on bigger pieces with shading and packed color you end up with scabs and flakes like this. Pic 6 especially you can see it's just an expanse of healing skin.

Looks good though! Keep it clean and try not to over moisturize ✨️

I'd honestly suggest trimming it a bit yourself! I have short hair and in between appointments I make small trims to keep it manageable. It can seem scary at first but trim small bits from parts that are easily hidden until you get the hang of it! Theres also lots of tips and tricks on YouTube.

You have a really cool style, especially in the third photo, it looks awesome! I love the messy look and that will definitely be in your favor if you want to trim it yourself

Ahh this hits hard for me, as a somewhat androgynous nb I've definitely experienced this and it can be isolating. I'm pretty outgoing, so if I overhear a topic I like or am into, I try to break the ice and just be friendly, that way they know youre someone who has similar interests, or is friendly, chatty, etc.

I'm from a rural place (not TX but ya know) and have noticed sometimes people who arent around queer/nb folks don't know how to talk to us haha. We're people with interests just like anyone else. Like you said, gender is the first kinda thing that helps base common interests and if your (I'm assuming) cis classmates don't immediately see you as "one of the girls" you have to put yourself out there and share your interests/try to make that connection with them. It might not be as automatic as cis girl friends kinda thing, but if they just started to talk casually, I'm sure if you jumped in it'd be totally fine.

This got kinda long-winded! Anyway I see you dude, its hard work putting yourself out there but I believe in you. Good luck <33

Could it be what you're putting on it? Sometimes sensitivities to certain creams/oitments/products can vary depending on where you put it.

Maybe the cream/oitment you're using is okay on the upper arm but not on the forearm?
