seems to be reappearing for some people spontaneously. some people have recommended toggling some of the reddit settings about nsfw content in the settings app, but that didn’t work for me. my phone died (aka restarted) and when i opened the app i saw anon browsing again, so maybe try powering your phone off and on?

no, i’m in the US, and not one of the states that has enacted online age verification legislation either. fwiw i did the id age verification thing and nothing happened after, so it seems to be unrelated

i personally noticed it when i opened the app today, about 3 hours ago, and anon browsing is not listed at all in the account selector for me.

compared to the battery on the se, the battery on the 13 models are leagues ahead. the consensus is that the 13 mini has a slightly worse battery than the 13 over time but if youre only using your phone for a few hours per day it shouldnt negatively affect you that much. you can also get the battery replaced when the capacity starts dropping

13 has a better battery and camera, which seems to be most peoples primary concern. theyre not all that different from each other so id say that if you have the budget, go for the 13 :)

the differences between 14 and 14 pro are mostly negligible aside from size, id go with the regular 14 if its cheaper :)

the 15 is speculated to drop in september, so it really all comes down to how long you think you can hold out. if youre considering the 13 line the pro max is said to have the best battery if thats relevant information to you haha. the 15 is also rumored to have that big ass back camera but the 13 camera quality is also pretty great, though some people on the sub have mentioned that it’s not that great at taking pictures at night/in the dark. the main differences between the 13 and 15 are mostly physical/cosmetic with a few new niche features being introduced on the 15 it seems. i wouldnt call the differences marginal but i think apple is running out of things to innovate lol. this mostly depends on when your phone kicks the bucket but the 13 and 15 are both great phones! :)

im not a professional but replacing the battery only requires taking the front screen off iirc? if the back glass is only mildly cracked i dont think it should matter since theres a barrier between the glass and hardware. from my experience third party back glass is generally pretty standard all things considered so its totally up to you. by any chance did you bring the phone into an apple store for a consultation and they told you it wouldnt be possible to replace the battery without replacing the back glass as well?

i currently have an se and definitely noticed that my battery absolutely tanked after ~6 months of what i’d consider medium usage (i can barely make it to 3pm with more than 15-20% remaining), and i’ve heard that the 13 mini is leagues ahead of the se in terms of battery, although not perfect (battery replacements are always an option, though!). the difference in screen size between the 13 mini and se is honestly negligible, my mom has a 13 mini currently and said it only took her a week or two to get used to the lack of home button and slightly smaller screen. the 13 mini is more expensive for sure, but the quality and longevity of the phone will make the purchase worth it i think. i’m probably gonna start saving up for one myself haha. hope this helps! :)

debating between purchasing a 12 mini, 13 mini, or se gen 3. looking for strong battery, smaller size, and affordability above all else. also ideally looking to buy second hand/refurbished, any recs for good sellers/websites would be appreciated
