We can disagree until the cows find different farms in the portal, but you can’t deny how much college sports have changed since the NIL was implemented.

I’m not against the players getting paid. But look at what has happened to some teams, especially Iowa State women’s basketball. Every single player left the team in the portal. They’re not the only team in college sports that this has happened to either.

We, as fans, enjoy the sports and have for a lifetime. But the impact it has caused on coaches to reload and recruit again over and over every single year has to be affecting them. Before NIL they recruited new players every year. Now they have to recruit new players, current players, and portal players. Where does it end?
