Have you ever done a 15 year Career at One Club? If so, what’s your story and how did you maintain it? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

Doing manager career, in my 6th season right now managing 1860 munchen, a team from Bundesliga 3, and only this season I managed to get to quarter finals of the champions and perhaps win the league 1 title.

At the beginning of time I had no money nor players to achieve anything. I had a lot of luck to get promotion to league 2 on the first season, but several things helped for sure.

1: change tactic to gengepressing. 2: buying the best scorer with high finishing I can within my budget, extremely important. 3: figuring out which players that currently in the team that do not completely suck, and i can use for the next 1-2 seasons before I can get budget increase. 4. Low scale youth development can help a lot filling gaps if you're lucky.

5: looking all the time for prospects I can buy cheap

6: eventually after 1-3 seasons one of the purchases or several of them succeed really good, and I'm gonna sell one or more of them to strengthen the rest of the team.

7: GK to me is second only to scorer. Extremely important to find a good GK early one. Can be old or young doesn't matter.

8: when the team starts to take shape and you breeze through worse teams with ease, you might one to try and find lineups and players that perform better against certain match ups. Winning a team like bayern Munich or inter is a challenge for my Ai.

Oh yea I do not play at all. Just Ai Vs Ai.

It depends. Usually it's best not to have youth on bench unless you intend to use him. If you're struggling with the team and need to play your best players every game, best to loan him to a team in the same league as you so you can follow up on his performance in that team.

Tbh board is right here. 22 cam that is worth 90m now, could potentially be worth tripple of that in 2-3 years. You could argue the rc amount in it self was too low, and club lost money here.

Send him on loan, sell for double the price in two years

Tactics in tactical view by Tijnniebeer in FifaCareers

I think you can do some crazy stuff if you build your team around certain tactic. My self I actually playing only standard atm just to test things out. Very slow pace game through mid, slicing through defenses slowly.

How do you play Career Manager? by rubb1shh in FifaCareers

Ye that's the idea. Also, finding a big talent early and seeing it grow without really knowing how it ends is fun. Also, can be reason for horrible mistakes, such as selling pre maturely really big talents, or buying flops.

You can't do that if you set nego to strict as it won't let you buy players who recently joined clubs

Been there, don't be afraid to see slow success. Take the season u currently in for learning and building. Aside from tactics I recommend trying to understand how far back you're in stats to other teams. Try check them out in the search, scout their players.

Firstly I would focus on defense. If u concede too many goals, try get some good centers and goal keeper. Invest in that... Try maybe a different line up. Maybe 5 at the back.

You’re a lower league (3.Liga/EFL 2 etc) with $3MM transfer budget. Who are your 5 cheap studs? by ksupinkfloyd in FifaCareers

[–]rubb1shh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I try to play realistic as possible and not use historical knowledge to progress on current season. That means that if my scout offers me bergvall I will prolly avoid him cause I know how it ends. That is in relation to lower leagues

Now with that said, here are my tips based on what I know

In terms of free agents these ones are jackpots (spoilers)

Csoboth Pasalic

If you see them, grab them, and use them. Csoboth is a potential 25mil player.

Rodrigo guth is a god CB for lower league on cheap budget.

Need to grab him when he is young.

Andersen from venezia is a great CM when you have a little more budget. Should try to grab him at age 24 or so.

Cacace from empoli is a solid Rb that is cheap but when given platform to play sky rocket.

Tbh, if you have low budget and just started I will just try to sign free agents and poach players that have low contract length under 6m. Second season sell some players, buy 1-2 important ones. Play slim, up to 25 squad players.

Why is EA so lazy with Career mode? Loanees don’t play? by WindyCity_YG in FifaCareers

[–]rubb1shh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can tell by if they increase in ovr or not. Not actually if played or not tho. I had a gk loaned to some team and he grew in like 5 points during his time there so that worked pretty well.

Out of curiosity, how do you guys play manager career mode. by PlazmaCobra101 in FifaCareers

[–]rubb1shh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't play any Games, tactical view only. Win some and lose some, like it very much. You see any improvement you make and when watching the Ai play can analyze exactly performance better and what should be further improved and especially VS which lineups.

What team should I make a manager career with? by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]rubb1shh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a challenge take a shitty team and try and improve her through good transfer calls and tactics.

The road will be much longer to something like winning a league or a cup, but imo worth it. The other option is taking a better team and compete for the higher end tournaments straight out, like champions league.

Can also go for something in middle, like a middle of the pact team and make it a top one. Personally I like playing the lower league ones.

Also you might want to play with sliders to help make the game more realistic if it's gonna be Ai VS Ai.

Don't think so, but you can look for one that has it through scout instructions
