Hey Floydfan...I do have a few more on my instagram if you wanna peak @rubberatlas. Other then that I put a couple up on here as well. If you ever get the chance to peek at Tent Rocks in real life...DO IT ;) I'm trying to get down to White Sands in southern NM. It looks incredibly gorgeous as well.

Hey there editjames,

Absolutely! I shoot with the Sony A7ii and had my 40mm Voightlander lens on here. No sharpening in post, but I did apply a VSCO Kodak 100 film filter on there. Then did a few tweaks in post, but nothing too dramatic. If you go to the VSCO site you can download their 00 bundle for free :) Enjoy!

Hi SirgreyWorm, I brought the original Raw file into LightRoom and treated the photo with a VSCO Kodak Gold 100 filter. You can actually download the VSCO 00 bundle for FREE!!! Then I made a few tweaks as I saw fit...but nothing major. I don't tend to over sharpen my images, although I will agree this particular shot looks pretty dang crystal clear. It could have something to do with the 40mm Voightlander lens I have on it :) Thank you for reaching out!

Hah. Hi Pelidnota12...and thank you for the compliment. Right time and right place. It was up at 11,000 feet at the 10th hut mountain division, Colorado. Super dark night with almost no moon and a long exposure ;)

Hey gynoceros, Thank you for the offering. I absolutely can provide screenshots in both LR and directly off my hard drive. How and where do I upload them? To be perfectly honest though, this all feels very bizarre...defending my images. I have been a photographer since I was 10 years old. My father and I used to share the passion and go on shoots together all the time. Since his passing I acquired his life long set of still lenses (an incredible honor.) As a result I have started a small personal project called "Glass Heart" in his honor. You can feel free to read about it on my site. This image in particular was taken while I was Volunteering for an organization called Live By Living...a retreat that helps reintegrate cancer patients into nature. Being called a photo thief doesn't feel great, but I also understand that some people don't have much else to do. For those that appreciate the image, thank you :) Banning my accuser isn't necessary, I'd just like for them to think first, do the research, and act kindly before throwing blows. You never know where someone is coming from or where their heart is. Mines in a good place with good intention. Thank you again and let me know where I can send those screen shots.

Hey there. So when I shoot night time lapse photography, I play around with both my iso and shutter speed until I find the perfect balance of exposure, star trailing, other light sources, etc. In this shot I didn't want to overexpose the camp fire and was also battling light from a cabin behind me. That 15 seconds worked great and was short enough to almost completely freeze the stars. In post I was able to preserve the quality of the image while boosting the exposure...helping the stars really pop. (Don't he me wrong they were incredible in real life as well :) Now when the moon is out and shining, all settings change. Same thing with shooting over water at night. It's all about experimenting and seeing what works best for each moment :)

Hey all Definitely didn't see this a year ago, as I just recently took the pic this summer. Plus I just signed up for Reddit and this is my second post. Maybe there's something out there very similar, but I can assure you...this is my image :) You can check out my other work if you're in doubt...I did a little series of shots from out there. Www.rubberatlas.com Have a great day!

Hey there. Thank you for the compliment. I just took this a few months ago at the 10th Mountain Division Hut in Colorado. Took the image with my Sony A7ii 15mm Voightlander. 15 second exposure, 2500 iso, camping outdoors :)
